“Clean rooms, nice place to stay, will stay there again”

“This is a true gem. The staff was very welcoming and nice. The property is old, but very well maintained, cozy and extremely clean. The room had a welcome basket with sweets, crackers, a variety of teas, coffee, and even popcorn! My room didn’t have a kitchenette, but was still very well equipped with all kind of utensils. The bathroom was fully equipped with everything you could expect from a full service hotel. There were even large nice towels to bring for a visit to the hot springs. There……

“It’s good for the price. It was clean, comfortable, and I appreciated having different heat controls in each room! However there is a dehumidifier in the main room, which runs all the time. We stayed for a week so we would shut it off at night so we could sleep and leave it on during the day. We had to empty it a couple times and it was full! The property is old, but has been refreshed with new paint, flooring, etc. which explains the dehumidifier. We didn’t have anything to scour dishes with,……

“When I arrived the property, it was 32 degrees C. There was no air conditioning (which was in accordance with the booking and not expected). However, the only means of cooling down was through the balcony door, which led to a shared balcony with two other units. The property is poorly maintained and worn. The bathtub was visibly dirty/moldy. Because of the heat, I wanted to visit the pool, but the water was so cloudy that I couldn’t see the bottom. Because of the lack of safety and security, and……
