Port A 2024 stay

Family friendly, open concept, down the street from the beach!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I had no idea that the location would be so great when I booked this property. A bonus was the recommended golf cart rental company Island Outfitters was able to do a drop off and pickup right to the place! We were in perfect walking or golf cart distance to restaurants, beach and not too far from the ferry or marina. Mango Cay is a brand new section of townhomes, all with rooftop decks and elevator for convenience (much needed for the many stairs). Our pups also enjoyed the dog friendly property. We did not get a chance to use the community pool but there were several other renters hanging out with the families there. Overall, I would definitely rent again at Mango Cay!

There is one wall in the 3rd floor bathroom that was not painted. tape and bed. Would not recommend for anyone who cannot climb 31 stairs multiple times a day, we were not allowed access to the elevators. Deal killer for our family. Otherwise a great property.

I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our first time staying in Port A. The place was very clean and new - so new that it was pretty off gassy when we got there and we had to air it out for a good hour before my Mom could come in as she gets migraines. Everything was super clean except a very dirty matress cover on the fold out couch - even had what looked like dried blood on it. We were there for thanksgiving and the kitchen was great to cook in - new and good appliances. One of us was driving from Oklahoma and brought pans, thankfully, because all the place had was toxic teflon cookware. The pool was great for the kids especially since we visited in the cooler season and the beach wasn't always the place to be. Beds were comfy and there was space for everyone. Lots of good games and loved the mini-cocktail station! Good wifi. The elevator was AWESOME for my elderly mom with bad knees. The location was super convenient and a walk to the beach and town - loved that. Very noisy street with lots of traffic, though - made it unpleasant to have the doors and windows open sometimes. AND we had to because the smoke detector in the upstairs was VERY sensitive and went off several times each time we cooked anything - it really didn't like bacon :).

Beach fun

We had a group of 12- some couples, two kids, and some singles. Location and place was great. Loved the elevator. Kitchen storage space for food was awesome.

Has a blast

Clean, comfortable, central to everything and enjoyed the observation deck. Elevator was a huge plus for my mother-in-law who is 76 and has trouble climbing stairs. We will be back…

Bunch Family trip to Port Aransas

We had such a great time and there was plenty of room for all of us 3 families. Everything worked great and have the pool so close was very nice. Ample parking for all of us and thank you for that.I would certainly recommend this property, and it is an excellant location.

We really enjoyed this stay. The place was very spacious inside and out. It was perfect for our 4 adults and 5 kids. Lots of stairs(maybe not the best if your kids are under 4). The elevator was a nice convenience. Kitchen needs more supplies if you plan to cook a lot. We did, so we had to be resourceful with what was offered. No pizza cutter, no mixing bowls, no spices. You can tell the place is newer and people haven’t left much behind. The location is perfect. We had great access to the beach and we enjoyed that the Bier Haus was across the street.

Great location!

We come to Port Aransas every year for our family vacation - and this was a great stay! The location was in a perfect area that was close to shops, restaurants, and beach access. Our family will definitely be coming back!

Mango Cay week

The condo was very clean. The stairs were a killer, so we used the elevator a good deal of the time. The kitchen had plenty of dishes. The knives were extremely dull and some were rusty. We prefer eating at home, so good equipment is important to us.

Everything was great! The only slight issue was the smoke alarms would go off any time you cooked anything, but hey, at least they worked!!Thank you for a fantastic stay. We will be back.

Great stay!

We had a great time! Location was convenient to beach access, bars, grocery store and golf cart rentals. All within walking distance. Townhome itself was nice and clean. Everything was as advertised. Elevator was a plus to move luggage up 3 stories. Will definitely stay here again!

Birthday getaway

Celebrated my daughter’s 12th birthday with her friends. Great experience, the kids loved the house. The elevator was a plus! Only downfall was the cleanliness. Not as clean as it led to be. Other than that, the experience was a great one.
