Check in process was lengthy, sat around for an hour while waiting for room to be ready. To be fair we also got there at about 2:30, which is before check in time. During this time we were approached by a time share sales person who was somewhat pushy. He kept trying to get us to do the timeshare presentation for the next few days whenever we would see him around the hotel. Restaurants could use a varying menu, same 5-6 entrees offered each night. Portion size was on the small side if you are used to american sized meals. It was fine for us, we are not big eaters, but some may want to be sure they order appetizer, and soup, entree, and desert in order to be filled.

We had a great time in off season. The property was clean and service was great. Ac was very cold. I love the beds and lounging. Plenty of access to towels. I loved that the food in buffets were closed off for bugs. Because it was off season it wasn’t crowded and very pleasant. The water is beautiful with many fish to see. It was so warm and clear. Pool service was fantastic. Aaron was great. The seafood restaurant had some of the best food I’ve had at an all inclusive. Taxi ride to downtown was about $15 and 10 minutes. Plenty of seats and towels. Cons: Kids club didn’t open until 12. The buffet wasn’t open at night but you need a reservation to the restaurants. The Mexican restaurant was great but we did not like the Asian. When checking out the elevator was broken. We were on the 6th floor. I traveled with 3 kids solo and had several bags and a stroller and no one would answer the phone for help. The spa amenities do not come with service when you book. I’ve never been to a resort that doesn’t let you use the hot tub or sauna if you book a service. We all had massages and weren’t allowed to use the amenities.

La comida es riquísima, la atención del personal es muy atenta y servicial. La playa es hermosa y tiene corales donde podrás ver fauna marina. El acceso por el muelle es mejor, al de la playa si no tienes tenis acuaticos, ideal para hacer snorkel. La alberca cerca de la playa se ensuciaba facil.

This is our ninth time to stay here, but the first in ten years. The nighttime restaurant food quality is significantly diminished, while the daytime offerings were about the same. The nightly entertainment outdoors was extremely loud from 8 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Not conductive to a quiet place to watch the sunset or go to bed early. The staff is EXCELLENT and very attentive.

Water was leaking from ceiling when it rained. Water flow from shower was so slow. There was a huge ant infestation that was present throughout our entire stay. The first day wee were given pastries as a gift upon our first arrival, and was surrounded entirely by ants everywhere in large quantities. We immediately called room service to put a stop to it, and we were given a can of bug spray that was almost empty. The days after we had ants all over the floors at random places in time. They were from the floor, to behind the bed frame, or sink. It was uncomfortable knowing that each time I set foot in the room, ants could be near or on you when you're sleeping. It ruined the enjoyment of the rooms. This is beyond disgusting and UNACCEPTABLE. It needs to be addressed immediately so other guests do not have this type of problem. The bartenders need more experience on how to make cocktails. All drinks were mainly fruit juice and colored syrup with less alcohol. Sometimes it felt they were improvising instead of following certain recipes on how to make drinks properly. Food is a mixed bag. There is not much to choose from when it comes to buffets compared to other resorts, but the food is generally flavorful and good. By the third day you can definitely see that the food is repetitive during the lunch buffet. A rotating menu can also be nice at each of the three restaurants. It can definitely benefit from more variety, food options, and more vegetarian options.

Absolutely beautiful resort. Our room was magnificent. The views from both the living room and the bedroom were stunning. We had an enormous bath in our bedroom. Our wonderful housekeeper Anita restocked our fridge and water and cleaned our room beautifully every day. What a treat after our daily adventures. We had a couples massage. I can’t say enough about the pampering we received from Yazmin and Naomi. Wow!!! Miguel was our favorite server, at the pool. I always had a dink in my hand. 🍹😃 The food!!!! Omg. Arturo….. gracias!!🙏 he truly takes such pride in what he does. I’m missing so many incredible people in this post. Just know. We can’t wait to return! Bravo!

We had an excellent stay at Fiesta Americana. We visit often and this in now our new favorite hotel. Service was excellent from the front desk to the pool waiter. Special thanks to Miguel, Jose, Manuel, Ruby, Gabriel & Christian. What really pleased us is when my son had an earache we were going to take a taxi to the pharmacy, they called the pharmacy themselves, ordered the medication for us, and had it delivered to the hotel within 45 minutes! We were very appreciative. They took great care of us. Food is delicious and so were the drinks. Upgrading to a room with a private pool is well worth it. Only negative is no beach to walk into the ocean, it’s still a beautiful view though with being able to snorkel and jump right into the ocean.

The property is for snorkeling, there is no beach access. I arranged birthday decorations and the price went up from original quote. Then once there, product was not delivered on time. I had to continue to badger staff to see when it was going to be completed. Caused Stress and delay on enjoying the facility.
