「The FMI enjoys a very convenient location in the French quarter at a generally affordable price. The architecture style is french with big windows and lovely courtyard quiet in a short distance away from the hustling streets outside. The manager and frontdesk people are all very nice dealing with unexpected situation in a very prompt manner. There is cable TV in the room. The AC works very well. The window view is pleasant.」

「The room was clean, but quite dark. We looked out directly onto the pool on the ground floor so we needed to keep the curtains closed the whole time so we had no natural light. There was also nowhere really to store any of our clothes which was a shame. Also, the only mirror available was either a small one in the bathroom or a slightly bigger one that was in the dark corner by the door. 「The haunted hotel was great its walking distance to everything. The lore behind the place is fascinating and we had some paranormal but the ghost seem friendly. The staff are super friendly makes thst worth the stay just on that alone.」

「The Carousel Bar is very unique and the bartenders are very good at the specialty drinks they make. The room was very comfortable and the maids were extremely nice. That is where it ended! The front desk had an attitude like we were a bother, the restaurant did not let us eat at 9pm when we were told the restaurant was open til 9:30pm (we got dressed and came down from our room and were turned away by the same girl I talked to in the phone only minutes before) the girl at the desk was extremely...

「The hotel was quintessential NOLA..small intimate full of character being an older space. The hotel being aged does not mean it has to smell awful. Since they have no air conditioning it was very damp and hot and smelled like mold and mildew. The rooms also only had a small window unit which did not really cool the room in the summer heat. The attached bar was also hot and smelled bad. Staff was very kind is the only good thing I can say about this hotel.」
