“Clean modern room but would recommend paying the extra for a larger room with a view. Food eve meal / breakfast etc was excellent with very attentive staff in all departments. Excellent weekend break. Would recommend.”

“Our stay was amazing, no faults at all! The staff were incredible in every sense, so accommodating, so welcoming and all the little touches went a long way. The room was perfect and had all the amenities we needed. The pub had amazing food in the evening and the breakfast was 10/10!”

“Very comfortable room. The first night a little warm but after turning the heating down better the 2nd. Very good water pressure in the shower and good toiletries (white company) Ate both nights of our stay and the food was very good. Staff where very good through out the hotel but it was a little frustrating when our dessert arrived without any cutlery and it took 5 mins before they noticed. Good location for Chatsworth and other local attractions. Would stay here again.”

“Lovely small quiet hotel in a great area of Sheffield right next to Encliffe Park & walks into the Peak District. Friendly staff & lovely editions to the room, lovely toiletries, water & milk in the fridge & delicious homemade brownies. We got upgraded to a lovely room with a roll top bath. ”

“What a great hotel. Can't say enough positive things about my experience. Room was lovely, clean, good value, great location and ambience, but the service and food were even better. I had early starts both mornings of my stay and it was not too much bother for Helen on the front desk and Paul?, the chef to open the kitchen slightly early for me. The food was wonderful and good value and Helen couldn't have been more helpful. This is what an independent hotel / restaurant should be like. Thanks……

“We had lovely hosts! The breakfast was delicious and we could've only wished to have stayed longer! The airline forgot our luggage and our hosts were most kind and helpful while getting things settled for the airline to deliver our bag. The place was warm and inviting, and was well kept! Next door was a pub with delicious food as well and very convenient. We could not recommend this place enough!”
