Extraordinary condo!

Great Destin Condo

We just spent 5 nights at a great condo and we loved the location! The beach service was very nice to have 2 chairs and a Umbrella for a little $ . Loved being by the Back Porch!! We ate lunch and dinner several days!! The water was Absolutely Beautiful!!😎

Labor Day Family weekend

Had a good time! Vacasa was great! We forgot beach towels and they gave us a set! I will say that we’ve stayed at other units in the past and this was the first that had zero condiments, salt, pepper, coffee filters, sugar, etc. just FYI for the next guy. Not a knock on the place just info.

Beautiful Condo/ Awful Property Management

The condo is beautiful. Great view and very quiet. You don’t hear your neighbors or anything. It’s very spacious and fit our family perfectly. We did think that this condo needs to upgrade to nicer mattresses. The guest mattress squeaks really bad and is not very comfortable and really all the mattresses in the house weren’t that great. For our family of 7 it was also really hard to cook breakfast or dinner due to 1 medium sized frying pan. Anytime we cooked, which was daily it took us 3 times longer because we only had 1 frying pan. It was very frustrating. Also, the rug in the master bathroom was literally falling apart. We had chucks of the rug all over. The rug needs to definitely be replaced. We also would have appreciated having apps on the t.v. In the bedrooms. Our only option was live t.v. In the bedrooms, but that really wasn’t that big of a deal. As for the property itself, we had some problems. People were constantly smoking on their balconies (cigarettes, pot, and cigars) and it was hard to even be outside. We had to constantly keep our doors closed, even though we like them open and we had to constantly rush our kids inside because of smokers. When we told the front desk person Kaylee what was going on, she just said there was nothing she could do about it and she will have security keep an eye out. She was very rude in her response. In our 8 days there we never saw security 1 time. The only time I saw a security officer is when one was at the front desk chatting it up with other employees. People were smoking at the pool constantly and all over the property and never any security. Kaylee was also very rude about the whole situation. I couldn’t believe she actually works the front desk of a resort like this. I asked her for her name when I was leaving and she rolled her eyes at me and asked “why?” I told her that I always get names of people I talk to just in case I talk to someone else and they want to know who I talked too. She then told me her name with an attitude and I told her she probably shouldn’t be working customer service with an attitude like that. She seems miserable and very unhappy with her job. She has major attitude and just by that experience alone, we will not be coming back. When you pay that much money for a condo for 8 days, you should be able to enjoy the pool and balcony without inhaling second hand smoke.

Spring Break 2022

This a great fit for our family of four --- very spacious and clean. The view is unbelievable and we spent hours on the balcony! Kids enjoyed the pool and the short walk to the beach. Would love go back!

Only 2 beds are functional

The bottom bunk is a mattress topper over slats- not even a toddler could comfortably sleep in that bed. The queen bed was an uncomfortable mattress on top of plywood that was too short for the bed- so your feet and the bottom of the mattress hand down while you sleep. By just putting an actual mattress on the bottom bunk and putting actual support under the queen mattress my review would have been 5 stars. It’s unfortunate that the condo is advertised as having 4 beds when only 2 are actually useable.

Beautiful Vacation

This beautiful condo is in the heart of Destin with the best beaches in town. Back Porch seafood is across the street and is always a good time. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need and made our say easy to cook our meals as well. Highly recommend this condo for any family or friend vacation. We will be back.

Cleaning was a joke

Only reason I’m leaving 3 stars is because the location and resort amenities. The condo wasn’t cleaned. There were dirty dishes in the dishwasher, the sheets weren’t cleaned (they were wrinkled and just the comforter was pulled up). The toilet in hallway wasn’t cleaned, it had nasty dark brown spots on inside of the bowl. There were zero extra bed linens in closets. There were stains all over the carpet and smelt like someone had been smoking in there. We had to rewash all linens after driving 6 hours and clean, even buy some scents for the condo. The cleaning crew really didn’t do their part on this one.

Message to Owner: pls update the queen bed (second room). The bed frame is smaller than it’s mattress, which makes unreliable/unstable.

Beautiful!

Stayed 3 nights, in town for a family wedding. We will definitely be back. We are natives of Fl But never stayed in this area. Destin beach is BEAUTIFUL Can’t wait to come back. It’s worth the drive to have a nice clean stay at Sterling Shores
