Great house! Great location!

Great house with excellent owner support. Great space, everything worked in an excellent gated neighborhood. Kitchen had everything for our party of 9. Communication with check in was great and super easy. Two easy suggestions.....make it clear the golf cart cannot leave the neighbor. Would have been nice to know. Second, get new smart TVs. Property has everything except for that. 600 gets you 3 smart tvs in all major rooms. Would defintely go back!

Nice place overall

We really loved our stay. Like some of the reviews say, the house could really use some updating but the house is beautiful and well kept nonetheless. The top level floor smelled slightly humid though. I think they could prioritize some updates. Overall, really charming, perfect size to accommodate my family of 11 plus a family friend. The golf cart is really a plus. The pool was beautiful. Neighborhood is gorgeous. I rated the check in process on the lower scale because one of the guards had an off putting attitude and our gate codes didn’t work. They even gave us a few different ones to try but they didn’t work until the the next day. Overall, we had a very pleasant stay.

Fall Break at Absolute Delight

We stayed at Absolute Delight for Fall Break 2024. The property is located within the Destiny by the Sea gated community- which is the best location in Destin, in my opinion. There is a private beach which is so nice. The house itself is absolutely beautiful and has an elevator for those who may have trouble with stairs. We brought my 82 year old grandmother with us on this trip and she was able to operate the elevator with ease. We have three kids (13, 7, and 3) and the house accommodated all of our needs. The golf cart made it super simple to travel to and from the beach with toys, towels, chairs, and kids. The hosts have really thought of everything. We will definitely return to this property.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is a beautiful home in a perfect location. But that is it! PROS: -Funvacay was great, always prompt with all of our needs. -Location, private beach, not crowded. CONS: - with 3 beach access not 1 is wheelchair accessible so our 85 y/o could not get to the beach. - Almost everything inside this house is OLD. House is in desperate need of renovation. Knobs, rods, drawers falling with a simple touch. AC pouring water down to laundry room. They do not have dishes for 14 people which is what the house is advertised for. All dishes are different, actually plates are plastic, not what you expect when you rent a house like that. One pot was so disgusting half the Tfal was gone and still the pot was there for use. -Sink in powder room was detached from wall. -Rug in living room super dirty. I could say more but bottom line, we had a wonderful time with family but were very disappointed with the house itself.

Amazing 3rd floor setup

Great experience I loved it I do wish the elevator worked and before I got there they informed me the dishwasher broke and it was getting repaired the day after our last day.. but he was nice enough to bring us paper plates and cup
