“Overall this property served its purpose. The area was a little rough around the edges but the location was convenient for getting both to Berkeley and San Francisco. The property was is some need of repairs. The gas dryer was not connected to gas and didn’t have any heat, the kitchen was functional but some of the cabinets were falling apart. The beds were comfortable and the space was ample for our group of seven.”

“I booked on May 8 and within an hour realized I need to modify the arrival date. The listing said free cancellation May 12. I immediately messaged the host, but didn't receive an inbox response until May 17 approving the date change. I then ask the host to change the online booking dates and charges to reflex the agreed upon shorter stay. She insisted that I had handle that with VRBO. “Our son was graduating from Berkeley Law School and we needed a place to accommodate a large group (10) of his friends and family. This house worked extremely well with easy access to both UC Berkely as well as San Francisco. The West Oakland Bart station was a short walk away. We were a little concerned about the neighborhood, but had no problems and we were always able to find street parking either directly in front of or very close to the house. Kitchen well stocked with everything you could need beyond fresh or refrigerated items. There is a Target 5 minutes from the rental to get the rest. ”
