The decor is cohesive and attractive, the kitchen is well stocked (though bring your own coffee and other basic cooking supplies if you plan on cooking), the vibe is easy-breezy-homey-comfy. I love the houses in the old village part of Dillon, close to a wonderful general store and coffee bar, close to the beach for those long walks... so I give this location an A, even as there's only a tiny bit of ocean view. Bathrooms and primary bedroom suites are just perfect. Everything super clean and tidy, instructions and communication clear.

House super clean, excellent location, easy walk to store. 3 TO 5 Minutes to beach. Parking for 2 small cars, if you drive a full size truck, parking could be tight. Everything you need. Only 1 shower, but large tub if needed. Will stay here again.

The house was in a great location, about 5 minutes walking distance to the beach, very clean, and well managed. Susan has done a great job decorating their house, and she was very easy to work with. Camp David is at the top of the list for our next trip to Dillon Beach!

Clean. Well maintained and supplied. Close to beach (hilly - be ready to hike a little), small restaurant and small store (make sure to check their hours). Can get busy at the beach on the weekend, but plenty of room. Park at the house, not down at the beach. A great stay!

This house is so lovely! A lot of thought was put into providing everything you need in an organized way. The living spaces and kitchen are extremely attractive and functional. It is also exceptionally clean. It's so nice to be in the village, close to the beach and store. Will def be back.

Really comfortable and short drive or 10 minute walk to the beach. Nicely set up for our family to take day trips and then relax. Be informed there is no dishwasher, so extra work is required. Host was insistent on doing a repair during our stay which was an interruption, but a one time thing.

We loved the chill vibe, well decorated, friendly, comfortable place! It was relaxing - a place where after a year of quantizing, we could visit with Colorado friends who were visiting. We hadn't seen since the pandemic started and we were all vaccinated, the place was immaculate and it was perfect. Having a shower available in the master bath is the only Ding, why it isn't 10/10. Would we return - IN A MINUTE!

Loved our stay at Camp David. Very clean and well kept. Enjoyed the upstairs a lot. The only challenge for us was that we have a blind dog and the steps were a little steep. Also, a little patch of grass in the backyard would have been nice as I had to take the dogs on the street to do their job. The shower in the master bath doesn’t work very well (low pressure). These were all small issues. Mostly, really enjoyed our stay here. Access to the beach and shopping was closeby as well.

Very nice home in a great town. It was a simple check-in process and we arrived to find the property was as clean as all the other reviews state. It was clean even for a non-pet property's standards. The location within the neighborhood is good too compared to some other rentals. No one directly behind the house gives a bit more privacy and breathing room than other properties. No house directly in front either. The amenities inside the property were very nice and helped make a relaxing vacation. The locations is great too. I lived on a different part of the CA coast before and Dillon Beach is a nice, tiny town on the coast. If you're looking to get away, this one-way in/one-way out town is it. Dog-friendly private beach was a surprise too. Excellent, unique location on the coast as well.

2 girlfriends and I had a great time at Camp David! Beach is easy walking distance, home is very comfortable, cool neighborhood, weather was exactly what we wanted. The only reason I knocked down one star on “cleanliness” is because the pans in the kitchen were a little grimy, even after washing ourselves several times. I think it’s really more renters fault than anything else.

I have not stayed at too many VRBO's in the past and I have to say, this one was delightful. Everything was clean, in good working order and the beds and furniture were comfortable. Even though it rained almost non-stop, this was a great home to be house-bound in. It is also relatively close to the beach and store. Also, it was refreshingly quiet at night. Two things that I have to mention (they didn't bother me, but they might other people: 1. There are many stairs - just be prepared, and 2. Parking spaces are a premium.
