Very cost effective and enjoying.
Nice to have microwave, toaster, and utilities. Location next to supermarkets and restaurants. A bit old but maintenance and cleanliness are very nice. Nice staff. Recommended.

房間超冷 暖氣開了等於沒有
The room was very cold and I had to wear a lots of clothes so to make myself feel better... The washroom was big and clear but I won't choose this hotel anymore cuz it's really too cold 訂的是雙人房 check in的時候沒告訴我房間在幾樓 我就自己找 結果找超久因爲她指示都超不清楚的 最後我先上了二樓 穿過這樓的防火門(就是後門)才找到房間 後門又沒什麼光超陰森的.. 門老舊不能一次凖確關上 要多次努力才行.. 房間超冷而且很窄 大型行李不能在地板上平放打開 門一打開就是床 站著的時候明顯感覺到冷風從門縫不停吹進來 最後我用酒店提供的大毛巾把門縫塞住還是沒啥用 洗手間整潔 這間老實說我不推薦。。

不是万不得以真的不会住这家店！小到开门就是床！行李箱都没办法打开…并且住了三天一直没有换床单…

It is unexpected good for the room, super large!. Wifi needs to pay, the location is not good unless you are driving (free parking offered). Whole building seems like a castle. But found bugs in shower place.

位置有點遠
住宿位置離王子街有點距離，想省錢不坐公車就必須得走滿長一段路(拖著行李會很不方便)，房間整潔度還不錯，簡單乾淨但看得出來是利用閣樓再多加一間房出來，放了雙人床後空間其實滿小，而且第一次住到雖然有獨立衛浴但是竟然不在房間內，而且也不在旁邊而是要到樓下去，有點麻煩。 價錢和下定時的不一樣，有點小傻眼(飯店人員說價錢會一直變動)! 但整體來說，還OK，而且有微波爐小烤箱和餐具可供使用，這點滿不錯的，因為可以微波冷凍食品省餐錢!

The rooms are small but comfortable. I was travelling with a broken foot and at check in the man on duty upgraded me to a more accessible room. The hotel is in a good location and a short walk from public transport in a quiet area. A great place for short stays and very budget friendly.

We were given a renovated room which was clean and comfortable. The staff maintained the room clean throughout the stay. The hotel is fairly distant from the city centre however there are good bus and tram connections nearby. Recommended.

The room was spacious. The beds were comfortable. The only complaint was with the hot water. Depending on the time of day it was any where from too hot to just right to too cold.

Not helpful or accommodating with WiFi
We booked a room in the attic but got another one on the outside, which would have been fine, but the entire trip we did not have any WiFi, which was promised in the booking. For Swedes it is very expensive to surf with your own mobile in the UK, which made this trip very expensive for us. We might as well had booked a more expensive hotel. Should really request some sort of refund.

The room was clean and included coffee and tea. Its great on a budget, but can get noisy in the morning because the walls are thin. Overall it was good quality for the low price, and the distance from city center was easily walkable (20-30 mins)

The hotel was dated. The property from the outside looked quite shabby. The man on reception offered upgrade then charged £20 for it. Had to tune own tv. Bedding was clean but matresses were on wooden bases so mattress slid when sat on.

Waste of money
£3.40 per hour parking with maximum four hours. Nowhere to park anywhere near. No lift and incredibly noisy. No breakfast facility and needs a good clean. Hostile staff that not only do not talk but scowl at you.

Needs overhaul
Room was dirty, needs a good overhaul. Tv wont work, no internet. Reception guy not very friendly either. Asvert stated free parking but there isnt. Only paid street parking and can only stay 4 hrs max.

Hôtel charmant mais pour ce qui est du confort c’est à revoir, les lits étaient petits et pas confortables.. la chambre très petite pour 3 personnes pas de place pour ranger les affaires… la douche ne s’écoule pas et chauffe une fois sur deux … le chauffage n’en parlons pas où il fait très chaud ou il fait froid …. L’insonorisation est à revoir énormément … on entend tout …. Pour ce qui est du service, les femmes de ménage et les réceptionnistes sont très cordiales mais il était inscrit dans la réservation que le petit déjeuner était compris.. malheureusement il n’y avait pas de ça. Le parking était inscrit gratuit mais c’est du stationnement dans la rue payant de 8:30 à 17:30 la semaine ( pour la nuit c’est bien) mais bon il devrait remettre leur propositions à jour. Point positif la localisation: bus en bas de l’hôtel ou à 10 min a pied pour aller dans le centre Malheureusement ce fut un mauvais séjour malgré la beauté de la ville …

I nearly cancelled, because of the bad reviews I've read and glad I didn't ! I am a single traveler, a tourist, five nights in Edinburgh. For what I needed - a good sleep in a clean bed and excellent shower, the room was more than perfect. There was TV and coffee maker. I stayed in the room nr. 7 and will most likely return, when I visit Edinburg again. There is no elevator at that place, therefore only 4 stars

Light and very clean facilities. However we were on the We were on the top floor and there was no lift. I understood we would have a double bed as well as single ones.The TV was small, low sound & above all not functioning well, as it cut out & there was a fractured picture and sound. So disappointed not to see programmes when we were tired in the evening. Peaceful environment and comfortable single beds and warm, although we would have preferred a double bed.
