“The room was clean and spacioys shower powerful. The staff was amazing polite and very helpful. Literally opposite the beach Had to pay parking on top when we got there but was only £8 The breakfast was decent and so was the coffee”

“I loved that old cottage and am glad it is in good use. It's nicely furnished and the village where it is situated is delightful. Two negatives were the dog smell in the lounge and poor state of plants in pots. While the dog smell is probably unavoidable as dogs are allowed, the dead plants brought about a depressing impression. Being a gardener, I tried to look after the remaining plants and had to transplant one huge heuchera plants that was literally hanging in the air as its pot was……

“Staff are very helpful and friendly, lots to do for children. Next to the beach and a cliff walk down to Amusements, rides arcade and Restaurant. Parking is in front of Hotel. Room has everything you need. Tea coffee biscuits etc Netflix and sky sports. We enjoyed our week very much”

“We have stayed here 3 times now. It is a great value for a short stay near Exeter. It may look basic but the rooms are clean and tidy and a good breakfast too. Easy access to M5 and 10 mins drive into Exeter. Free parking.”

Staff very friendly, excellent gluten free options particularly the cinnamon cheesecake! and they willingly let us use their big white towels on the beach when we didn't bring our own. Really lovely 2 day visit.”
