「Check-in was fine. There was a wedding on (on a Monday) and was left with a feeling you’d crashed someone’s party. Staff were obviously busy with this wedding so not so attentive to other guests. Main gripe was the additional £25 charge on the room for having our dog with us which wasn’t mentioned in any of the booking material. It’s good to be ‘pet friendly’ but also please be transparent about the charges.」

「Paid for two superior rooms at a price that was relatively high considering the location (i pay less to stay in cities and this was a village) but was very disappointed to find no breakfast included in the price. Staff were nice. The room had some black mould on one wall by the door, otherwise clean but no remote control for the tv - so couldnt use it at all. Bed was comfy, but felt a little short changed still.」
