    Welcome to The Loggerhead on beautiful Folly Beach! This 6 Bedroom Oceanfront vacation home is unlike any other property on Folly Beach and provides a luxurious experience that bring guests back time and time again. The spacious home can comfortably sleep up to 14 guests and features a reverse floor plan providing fantastic ocean views from the top floor living room and kitchen. The home is pet friendly and has elevator service to all floors ensuring all family members can enjoy the week at the beach!

    Upon entering the home you will immediately notice the attention to detail the owners have paid from the artwork to the furnishings that all provide a luxurious coastal feel. The first floor includes separate living/entertainment area with flat-screen TV and wet bar area, 5 of the 6 bedrooms in the home, and 4 of the full baths. The first bedroom includes king bed and private bath while 3 of the remaining bedrooms feature queen beds. The final bedroom on the 1st floor is perfect for the kids with queen bed and two twins all built into a custom bed frame that echoes the beach. All bedrooms feature flat-screen TV's for plenty of entertainment options. The bonus room has a queen bed and is located on the first floor.

    The second floor of the home features the large living area with spacious kitchen perfect for entertaining. The living area has over-sized couch with plenty of seating and 70 inch flat-screen HD TV for movie night or the rare rainy day on Folly Beach. The living area has 8 ocean facing sliding doors to offer deck access as well as gorgeous views of the Atlantic. The kitchen is fully stocked and sure to please even the most discerning family chef. Granite counters, stainless steel appliances and gas range on the kitchen island are just a few of the amenities the kitchen has to offer. The second floor also includes the master bedroom with King Bed and private master bath that includes Jacuzzi tub and walk-in shower. The final bedroom includes queen bed with private bath.

    The Loggerhead truly has it all when it comes to beach homes on the Charleston coast. There is plenty of sand at all times for building sand castles and taking long walks looking for shells. The exterior includes private beach access as well as large outdoor shower perfect for washing off after a long day on the beach. Parking area under the house and driveway provide parking for up to 6 cars.

    Home is pet friendly; however, it is strictly non-smoking. There will be a $500 + tax non-refundable pet fee per pet, plus tax, if you would like to bring a furry companion. A maximum of 2 dogs are allowed. Must be 25 years old or older to rent. No events allowed that exceed the maximum occupancy of the home. Elevator is an amenity for guest convenience only, NOT ADA compliant. Please contact us with any additional questions.

    **HOUSE SUPPLIES**
    This property is managed by a property management group. We provide a complimentary starter amenity kit to get you settled. Guests are responsible for replenishing supplies as needed during their stay.
    Two rolls of paper towels, 1 sponge, 1 dishwashing liquid, 3 trash bags, 3 dishwasher tabs, and 2 kitchen towels in the kitchen. Each bathroom will have 2 toilet paper rolls and at least 1 bar of soap. Full bathrooms additionally include kits with travel size products: 1 shampoo, 1 conditioner, 1 lotion bottle, and 2 makeup wipes.

The host was amazing! The home is beautiful and accommodated our big group, 9 adults, 4 children and one dog comfortably. Downtown folly beach is just 1-1/4 miles from the house so we were able to walk there daily. The elevator made is easy for grandma to navigate the house.

Amazing Trip

We spent Thanksgiving at this beautiful house and loved it. Kitchen has everything you could possibly want to cook thanksgiving dinner. Right on the beach, plenty of space to be together or to spread out. We rented a golf cart and loved going into town to have dinner or to Bert’s store. Would stay here again.

Our stay was amazing! The home is beautiful. Very special coastal (Serena & Lilly style) decor. 4 bedrooms have an ocean view. Well equipped - more than any house I’ve ever stayed. Nice shower products and hand soaps. Gorgeous beach views. Great location! We couldn’t have asked for more!

Beautiful house, right on the beach. We had a large group coming with young kids, and it was perfect to have rooms on 2 levels. House had all the amenities necessary. Plenty of parking available on the property which was great.

The view is amazing and the house is gloriously spacious and beautifully decorated. You can lie in bed and see and hear the ocean …. We have rented many VRBO homes and we all agreed this was something special. It was a family vacation and everyone had their own room and bathroom!

Great place

This house was clean, well laid out, and situated ideally regarding beach access for people with mobility limitations. There were a couple of maintenance issues that needed attention, but the managing company responded to this information in a timely way. Definitely recommended!

Exceeded our expectations!

Hands down, this is the best vacation rental we have ever booked. We traveled to Folly Beach the week of May 18th and could not have been more pleased with this home. It’s incredibly comfortable, beautifully designed and decorated and the view from both decks cannot be beat. Every room was very comfortable and well appointed and our family of 7 loved all the extra space. The owners were incredibly responsive and helpful, checking on us throughout our stay. We will definitely be back, I would recommend this vacation home to anyone looking for a luxury retreat. ☀️

Overall the home was beautiful and offered a 5 star feel. The maintenance company is not keeping the place up as well as it probably should be. Some details all around the house were becoming obviously worn or broken.

Very nice

The house was very nice and accommodating us very well. The only complaint was there was only one kitchen towel, no pot holders and no dish rags. The trim around a couple of the throw rugs was a trip hazard and they should be replaced. The raised fan for the stove needs a cleaning.

The on line picture does wonders for this property but I wouldn't book this again.

couch covers was dirty elevator old and difficult to work. also if the elevator is left down at the garage level anybody from the streets can enter in to this property....we left the elevator door open on the 2nd level upon exiting the property. vents was molded and very unattractive too look at. coffee pots didn't work...definitely need a fan over the stove. after reading checking in instructions we were told to bring our own beach towels and there were no extra bedding-covers. I did pass the information unto my family and we bought extra suitcases just for blankets. unpon arrival there were extra bedding up in the closets and plenty of beach towels soon as you entered the front door. Also after entering the code about 4 tries on the security pad-lock the door wouldn't budge. I called the office to make sure we did everything correctly in which we did but I was told we had to push super hard on the door just to open it.

Folly Beach Family Fun

My family gathered at Loggerhead for a week of ocean fun. There were 12 of us, and we found this spacious 7 bedroom home accommodating and comfortable. The beach is expansive and it was not crowded. The house is located at the far end of Arctic Ave. away from the main part of Folly Beach. There was plenty of parking on the property. They supplied many great beach towels and the bath towels were nice and plentiful. The house is showing signs of age, in spite of some updates that have been done. The ice maker in the freezer did not work. The water on the refrigerator door ran so extremely slow we could not use it. There was a counter top ice maker, but we found it so dirty we could not use it. The management company responded quickly and supplied us with bags of ice each day. The toaster only worked on one side. The water in the kitchen sink did not get very hot although the shower temps were great. There were plenty of dishes silverware glassware cooking pans and utensils. The coffee makers and blenders are in need of replacement. The king room on the first floor had air conditioning issues and was hot. Shower drain in Jack and Jill bath did not drain well. I mention these things because the owner needs to know so they can make the needed improvements to this lovely home. We enjoyed our stay at Loggerhead and Folly Beach.

Great House for Extended Family Vacation

We had three generations, 12 people from age two to 64. This home was perfect for our family, and could have easily held a larger group. The two living areas, ample beds & baths, and large kitchen all provided plenty of room to gather together—or have time apart (when some needed to nap). Comfy beds, nice linens, plenty of towels, excellent kitchen… ‘Highly recommend!

Perfect Beach House for our Family

The Loggerhead was perfect for our family of 8 adults and 5 children under the age of 7. There were ample bedrooms and bathrooms, and the separate living space was great. The kitchen was well-stocked, and the furnishings and decor were high quality. The linens and supplies were ample and very nice. The beach was perfect, with lots of play space even at high tide. A few improvements would be an ice maker in the downstairs bar area and better cleaning under furniture, along baseboards, shower grout and kitchen sink.

Wonderful Vacation Home

I can’t say enough about this beautiful vacation home. From the layout of the home, the views of the ocean to the decor, it was perfect. We brought our entire family to help us celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary. The weather wasn’t great but we all agreed that it didn’t matter because the house was so great! Plenty of room for all of us including a 10 month old! The rental agency responded quickly to a couple of glitches and could not have been better to work with. This house is a perfect 10!

Loggerhead stay

Person 1: I thought the house was spectacular. Some more clear instructions about the elevator on entry would be useful, but beyond that an excellent stay. Person 2: If I were to add anything, maybe just a sheet that clarifies (in trash bags or not etc) about trash and recycling-and what the management company will already do vs what guests should do. Person 3: House was fantastic! Everything worked well and was better than the pics! Suggest updating the wifi info in the folder. We couldn't get on for a day! Person 4: Add a few toilet brushes?! Overall, the group loved the layout/floor plan of the house: it provided great common areas, private areas and bathrooms, great balconies. The kitchen was well stocked to have dinners for large groups. Loved the two ovens and dishwashers! The house was perhaps not spotless--refrigerator door had smears, sinks were not fully cleaned, etc. We felt compelled to wipe everything down with Lysol before we used anything (should not have to do that at these prices). Just a note to share with owners: there were quite a few people who tried to park in the driveway and get to the beach. (There is a beach access path next to the house). Also, they came into the first floor and felt free to use the shower, even when our cars were there. Thought owners should know this.
