“There were ants on the bed and coffee table both nights. We woke up to ants crowding our faces and bodies. I emailed the manager, but I never received a response. On the second day we end up leaving , I posted stay for three nights. The nearby place to eat is about 23 minutes away. It’s a ghost town. This place more truck driver for rest.”

“The house basically looks like the pics, just needs a deep clean and some touch-ups. There us a decent amount small issues.We had to unclog the bath drain as soon as we got there, and had to play with balancing out the air vents because it was freezing down stairs and burning up upstairs.The pool, playground, and proximity to the Ark Encounter made it worth while”

“Home was as listed and very quiet. Upstairs area was favorite part of home. We stayed here to visit the Ark and didn’t enjoy it. Wished we had just spent time at this house instead!”

“Don’t believe some of the negative reviews- this place is a gem! I was worried after reading past complaints, but our experience was fantastic! Some reviews mentioned wasps and hornets, but this is a cabin on 14 acres of rural land; outdoor insects are normal. It didn’t stop four women from enjoying the porch completely sting-free. The cabin is well-maintained, cozy, and rustic. It rained our entire trip, so we missed out on using the huge pool, but the host’s quick responses and helpful……

“Everything was as described. Nice and clean place to stay. Very convenient location for trips to the Ark Encounter, Creation Museum and if you wanted to catch a Reds game like we did. Check in was flawless. We arrived late but there were instructions for check in and out. Definitely recommend and would love to stay again if we are ever in the area.”

“Very family friendly, extremely clean and organized spaces. Host communicated quickly with any questions we had or concerns. Driveway, indoor stairs and hill to the dock are steep so we would not recommend to anyone with mobility issues or older age, however for our family it was totally accessible! We loved the access to kayaks at the dock! Fire ring and outdoor grill were used nightly when it got chilly!”

“There was no one at the front desk when I arrived. Instead, check-in was handled through a screen by a virtual representative who appeared to be located in another country. I was asked to provide my government-issued ID through this system, which is my main concern. Why does my ID need to be sent to another country? Who receives it, where is it stored, and who has access to it? Why can’t a staff member physically present at the hotel verify my ID? During check-in, the virtual representative……
