Charming Lakefront Cottage on Torch Lake - walking distance to Alden

"We were booked to stay in this cottage, however due to a maintenance issue, Nan reached out a couple of days before and offered us their other cabin, located right next door. She and her family offered to move so that we could stay there and not be disturbed by the maintenance workers. So while I cannot speak to this cabin, I can say that Nan was an excellent host and her property was clean, well-stocked and lovely. Would happily rent either cabin from her again."

"We had an awesome time with our family (7 adults and 6 kids). The views are awesome and we enjoyed jumping off the dock to swim, fishing and taking out the kayaks and paddleboat. The house was stocked with a lot of toilet paper, paper towel, and all sorts of towels (beach, bathroom and kitchen). Host are proactive and responsive. Highly recommended! "
