「It is very easy to get into Bury St Edmunds without a car, as the bus stop for the 84,86 service is next to the Cadogan Arms.with buses every 30 minutes. The staff are all very helpful and polite too. Plus such very comfy mattresses and good sized en-suite bathroom. The food is very good and very well presented too. Would I use the Cadogan Arms again certainly. 」

「This was a wonderful experience, very friendly staff who were always ready to help, offering glasses of chilled water in the spacious and well-furnished public rooms and alcohol in the evenings. We stayed in the large Shakespeare room, often used as a Bridal Suite. The spa is great, with a good sized pool, a jacuzzi and unusual sauna. Really good breakfasts served in bedrooms and at the nearby sister-hotel Milsoms. The fine dining at the main restaurant on the nearby River Stour was sublime,...

The host Paul was extremely friendly & helpful, he also makes a top class full english breakfast! Great base for exploring this lovely part of Suffolk 😊」

Delicious scrambled eggs in the morning made by Cliff using eggs from their chickens. comfortable bed and great shower. Very clean with nice touches such as shampoo/conditioner and shower gel and chocolate wafers with the tea/coffee making facilities. excellant value 」

「 We found the Victory Inn at Mersea to be very comfortable and the service was brilliant. Staff were especially helpful and the position was great for my 6 year old grandson as he spent lots of time in the play area and we could keep our eye on him. We will definitely be booking again for sometime in the summer for a longer stay.」

「Owners were very friendly and great at communicating ahead of our arrival. We had a fridge in our room, which was really helpful and the water and tea/coffee/biscuits left were lovely. The beds were so comfortable and we slept really well. The breakfast was amazing - really great quality sausages etc. would definitely stay again if we were ever in the area.」
