“Quaint, charming room. Good price for a nice room. Large bathroom, great size. Small quarters, but just fine if you are out all-day exploring Gettysburg. ”

“The food was average breakfast fare but the breakfast room was outside of our bedroom in a hallway on the second floor. The weirdest setup we’ve ever seen. The woman who prepared everything was wonderful. Otherwise, we were comfortable there. ”

“The Federal Pointe Inn of Gettysburg has so much history! It was originally constructed to be a school so the ceilings are extra high. The bedroom was spacious and the bathroom was large, but could have used better lighting. The bedrooms also lacked hooks for ease of hanging outer wear as the closet was located in the far end of the room away from the door. When we stayed, it was Easter Sunday so the restaurant and bar was closed, so we didn't get to enjoy restaurant/ bar, but we did walk……

“I’ve stayed in a lot of hotels up and down Route 30 in PA and this was my least favorite so far. After checking out and going to my car, there was an employee dumping a large tub of something from the side door that went over the parking lot. It was the grease from breakfast! There was no way around it and it was slippery and the dog also had to walk in it. Absolutely disgusting, unsafe, and unprofessional. While pet friendly and there is an elevator, there is only one small area out back……

“Property was historic and interesting. Beautiful backyard seating area with tall trees. Grab and go breakfast was sufficient. Great location. Friendly hosts. Parking area was distant from the house over uneven ground with insufficient lighting. Also, there were not enough parking spaces for the number of guests. We had to park on a public street 2 blocks away. While the interior of the historic house was well done, it was a bit cramped and the room itself was somewhat claustrophobic. There……

“Really enjoyed our stay here right on Lincoln Square close to the historic train station. Our room was very comfortable with a living room (with gas fireplace), kitchen, bedroom and private bath. Robin (loved her) met us to explain things about the Inn, our room and the surrounding area. We had a great time.”
