“The place was very nice and we thought the location was really nice, kind of tucked away from the hustle and bustle but still not too far from town. The AC worked great and kept us cool at night and they left a large container of filtered water in the fridge, which was super helpful. Overall, we would definitely stay here again!”

“On a whim we decided to fly to the Big Island and avoid the crowds and get a little hometown feel in Hilo. We missed the volcano eruption by just two days but that was the only disappointment for the trip. Our accommodations were perfect - exactly as described and photo’d. The welcome treat and coffee was a very nice touch. This was a perfect location to spend a day at Hawaii Volcano Ntl Park and another day driving around the island. “Spacious and inviting place! Decorated like a real person lives there, so we felt more like welcomed house guests in contrast to staying at a sterile hotel. Kitchen had all the tools we needed. AC worked when needed, water hot, plenty of towels and linens. Great neighborhood location very close to excellent reataurants Temple Bar and Jackie Rey's. ”

Extremely clean and neat located and walkable to downtown and only a few minutes from the airport and major roads for activities. Very well equipped kitchen and very comfortable beds. Our host, Simone, was lovely and left a welcome note, coffee and cookies along with other thoughtful touches throughout.It was the perfect place for our family and we enjoyed our stay very much.”
