「Just a quick night away. Parking a bit of a challenge as the cars I parked between had been a bit greedy. Room spotless, bed comfy, the chocolate bar a lovely touch. Wine selection very good and food really excellent. Staff helpful-we couldn’t get our TV to work. It was promptly fixed」

「The soundproof was not good at all. During late evening and early in the morning, the footsteps from upstairs were SO LOUD. We could not sleep well due to the noise. The squeaking sound was crazy, as the guests kept walking. Sound proof of walls on the same floor was ok, not silent, but totally acceptable. Apart from the noise, everything is fine. The location is good. Not too far from town centre. It has a big car park, so perfect for a rest in the middle of road trip. Cleaniness is also...

「The hotel is situated in wonderful grounds. The room we had was spacious and clean. Would have preferred a larger shower than an oversized bathtub though! The staff were extraordinarily friendly and attentive. The food was incredible and some of the best we have had at any hotel. Great place to use as a base while in the area. They have set the bar extremely high, just hope they can maintain it!」
