1. Huge Coastal House | Sleeps 16 | Beach, Old Town & Country Park | 10 beds

Hastings

"We had a very pleasant stay at this spacious and comfortable home, which was well-suited for our larger group. The garden was a particular highlight, offering ample space and the added delight of fresh fruit to pick. The location is great, being within a short walking distance of the beach and sea (20mins). The property was generally tidy, there were a few spiderwebs which luckily didn't have any spiders. If these were removed it would enhance the experience. Parking proved somewhat challenging...

"We left after just 4 hours because the property was nothing like the listing. The photos give a far better impression than the reality. Before arrival, I had to chase the host for check-in instructions as nothing had been sent. Even after calling, I was only given the key safe code. Later that day, after we’d already left, I received an email stating there was a £100 charge per pet, despite the Hotels.com listing clearly advertising “pets go free.” The property appeared to have had only...

Top Hastings Hotel Reviews

The Burlington Hotel

8/10 Good

"The hotel was so in need of a little tlc. The room, superior twin was fine, recently refurbished, clean and comfy bed. Bathroom needed updating, but ok.The real issue was no means of fresh air, as windows were fixed shut and no other means of ventilation. The lift was appalling. Parking was ok and easily accessible. Outside painting of front especially entrance area would be a wise investment."

Guestling Hall Hotel

8/10 Good

"Hotel is beside a busy main road, has limited parking, and needs a serious update…. and yet we didn’t hate our stay here by any means. The property has character and charm. The staff, especially Chad the general manager who we had most contact with, were great and gave us no reason for complaint. We stayed for four nights and had breakfast on two mornings, which were good. Nothing fancy or spectacular, but weren’t priced that way. The rooms were adequate, but as mentioned earlier, need updating and a good refresh. However, the beds are good which is important. All in all, this is in no way a five star hotel, but it isn’t priced like one, and for what it was, is a perfectly pleasant and enjoyable place to stay."

The Chatsworth Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"We had a fabulous albeit brief stay at the Chatsworth Hotel. Our room was vey clean & pspacious with a balcony that faced the sea . It was lovely to hear the sea whilst drifting off to sleep in the super comfy bed. We will defintely return and dine in as the menu looked lovely . We enjoyed a drink in the bar whilst listening to some live music . All the employees were super friendly ."

Flackley Ash Country House Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"Country house hotel set in beautiful grounds at Peasmarsh near Rye. We enjoyed our stay despite heavy rain. Cosy room looking out on lawn with bath, kettle (tea and coffee etc). Good WiFi. TV with Freeview. Very nice Pool, sauna and Jacuzzi. We did not eat at the hotel but did enjoy drinks in the comfortable bar. Ample parking. A hotel set in the country - good for exploring Rye, walking in the country and visiting Vineyards (Tillingham vineyard is close)"
