「Host very helpful, room spotless with an unexpected surprise of a lovely view and private patio area..very handy if you vape or smoke. Guest kitchen area/breakfast room fully stocked with with various breakfast items ranging from eggs to bread, fresh pots of fruit, cerial, pastries and even fresh coffee if thats what you desire. I would definitely recommend this B&B.」

「We stayed in one of the cottages which although a bit dated offer a lot of space and character. The room itself was spotless and comfortable with everything you could possibly need. Loftsome bridge although off a main road for convenience is lovely and quite due to it being a good distant back from it, so you get the best of both worlds a good nights sleep and connectivity to all the local attractions with York not being too far away. What makes Loftsome Bridge special is the staff they are...

「The setting is beautiful and the staff amazing. We took our 2 Spaniels with us and stayed in a dog friendly suite. Room was huge and surprisingly warm considering it was a converted Castle. Breakfast in the morning was decent and you are within 25 mins of York. All in all a great trip and we will 100% stay here again. 」

「Staff were impeccable. Food excellent. Whole standard of the place was top class. Just a few minor points to note & could be improved - bedroom window could not be opened to let in fresh air & badly needed dusting. Not enough electrical sockets & could have been better positioned close to mirror for make up, hair etc. Other than that, it was a beautiful atmospheric and classy hotel and full of character. 」

「Rooms here are great, each one is quirky in their own way, and a lovely touch to have radio playing in room as background music on arrival. The 2 ladies that greeted us on arrival were welcoming and showed us all (4 guests) to our rooms. Evening meal in the bar was great too, cold and frosty outside, the pub reminded me as something out of The Holiday!!!」
