"The room was great, clean, quiet (for bloor/bathurst) and stylish! while the check in is a bit unconventional for the city, it works well if you follow the online path they link you to before your reservation date. The staff were very kind and the restaurant downstairs, while not cheap, has some incredible food and drinks on offer. The location can’t be beat if you’re interested in exploring the west end of toronto - if it’s in the budget, we’d happily return (also if it’s a long trip there’s a wonderful laundromat nearby with reasonable prices “Trendy Laundromat”)."

"We had a wonderful stay at Ode! The lower level room is unique, very clean, and we loved the little welcome touches. Great location in Little Portugal, slightly noisy being near transit and a popular area, but it really wasn’t too bad and they supplied a white noise machine just in case. Definitely recommend this place for singles or couples!"

"looks bad outside but inside is nice. Don't count on parking. You pay for a permit but have to find parking on the street and respect the signs. The parking on site is super small. Best location. we took a bike and uber everywhere because it was close. no parking in dt toronto its hard but once u find one i suggest to keep the car there. "

The Brick Hotel

The Brick Hotel

10/10 Excellent
"We found this property last minute as we really wanted something during our vacation that had actual bedrooms and a larger space for the 3 of us. It’s 2 miles from the touristy spots (museums, CN Tower, Ripleys, etc). It sits off of Queen Street and so many coffee shops, restaurants and stores. The property itself was amazing. 2 bedrooms & nice kitchen and although we didn’t use the kitchen much except to store items in the fridge, it was good to have. They supplied a ton of kitchen items, extra blankets, pillows, and even a steamer which we loved! The bathroom also housed a washer and dryer which made it easy to wash towels etc, if needed or even clothes. Each room had its own air system too. The staff was nice&super responsive! Although they aren’t on-site, they were available within seconds of texting them which was super helpful. The only downside were the fruit flies the first two days. There were a lot.No fault of the hotel as it was so clean but it’s housed right in between numerous restaurants but I did have to put out “fruit fly” liquid and detergent in the drains.By day 3, we didn’t see them at all. Only other was location to access building. Because they were doing renovations you had to access in the alley beside one of the restaurants. Totally fine during the day time but didn’t enjoy it at night, again, no fault of the hotel. Amazing space, tons of room and our family really enjoyed the modern apartment and how close it was to everything. Would stay again!"
