Isle of Man Bar Hotel

"Friendly obliging staff. Room ok but needs a little tlc Disappointed with bar/restaurant. Meal selection poor and sitting arrangements not comfortable. Still enjoyed our stay"

"The room was clean and comfortable and convenient to restaurants and shops. We enjoyed being right on the promenade - right across the street from the Bee Gees statue! Parking on the promenade was a bit hit or miss. It's free from 6 pm to 10 am. We did have to park in a pay lot one night that cost £10. The only temporary problem was that it was noisy in the morning due to the construction of a building next door and work in the hotel's pub that was below us."

"The hotel is beautiful. Great location. Lovely large room facing the sea. Food was 5 stars on evening and breakfast was excellent. "

"It was very good value. The food was excellent and reasonably priced. The staff were friendly and wasn't "in your face" I thought the bedroom was good for its' size. The shower pressure was powerful and the room was warm. I didn't use the body/hair gel as I normally bring my own. HQ Bar is a very lovely reasonable priced stay "

"The room needed some attention. The view of the bay was blocked by a blind that was broken. No staff seen except morning breakfast which was not exceptional in anyway. Loved the Isle of Man (beautiful island with great public transportation )but would choose a different accommodation next time."

"The lift was not working, but staff carried heavy bags to the room. No kettle or drink making facilities in the room. Beds were comfortable and roombwas warm and clean."
