"Some of the basics were not provided on our stay so really wasn't worth the money. Communication - didn't receive the check-in details by email as instructions said. The day before the stay I tried to contact the host multiple ways, including Hotels.com support x 2, with no luck. Eventually on the day of the stay I was told I would get the information at 12pm. "Not that much. We are vegetarian. The Hash brown, not that cook well also we asked to make a omelette with onion but the chef doesn't know to prepare that and gave the half boil egg. Kids couldn't eat them. THE COFFEE Machine always in repair. Room clean is okay, it could have more clean, also there is no lift for other floors. We need to carry our luggages all the way to the stairs. Swimming pool is good but the steam bath room always not in good condition. Not steam enough. Toilets can clean more."

"A charming, cosy stay just outside Canterbury’s West Gate, with a great view of the historic entrance itself. The location is ideal, within easy walking distance of everything while still feeling slightly tucked away. The room was on the smaller side, but warm, comfortable, and thoughtfully arranged. Staff were friendly and welcoming throughout, which made the stay feel personal rather than transactional. The standout touch was the happy hour from 6–7pm, with a 2-for-1 cocktail offer paired with a complimentary cheese platter. That alone felt like exceptional value and added a lot to the overall experience. For the price, this hotel offers excellent value. Would happily stay again and recommend to others."
