"Blown away at location and amenities! Spent 20 yrs renting on AMI, no more......this is what AMI used to be. Laid back, family oriented. Brittany checked us in and was soo very friendly. Room was great, rented for myself, spouse, and 2 adult children and we had plenty of room. Only thing that was disconcerting was the adjoining room.......we heard EVERYTHING coming from under the door which connects to the bedrooms. We will book again, but stuff towels under that door to help with the noise. "

"The pool was disgusting, dirt and debris on the bottom and top so that was disappointing, while watching TV and sleeping a person actually opened up our porch door then the main door and just walked in and said they had booked the same room and had keys, what kind of place does not keep track of that and I'm not sure what the person was thinking the TV was on and it was up a little so I know they heard it from the outside but to get back to that place for allowing that to happen. "We stayed on the 6th floor of Mahi building and wanted to love this place as we are local. The room itself was spacious and moderately clean, and the staff were genuinely friendly and helpful whenever we spoke to them in person. We also appreciated the app for communication and the easy access to Sunrunner. That said, the building needs work after the hurricane. The phone to reach the front desk still wasn’t working, the A/C vent had nkt been changed and it was evident in the mildewy smell to room and the irritation and allergies I suffered after the first night. Cable streaming was very limited with most channels out. The phone for service is still down since hurricane.Again not a dealbreaker, but families with kids might care more. The biggest issue was the elevator. It worked the first night, but the next morning it was down. Carrying luggage and a dog up and down 6 flights of steep stairs was rough, especially since it’s not safe for pets on those steps. Additionally, we are experiencing summer already and it was particularly hot with no fans in stairwells. After a few requests via app and in person we were changed to a room closer to the beach. The view was great. Bathroom was a bit worse for wear but again moderately clean. Employees did their best and were a bright spot, but with elevator reliability, basic repairs, and soundproofing issues, the property needs some TLC before it’s fully guest-ready especially considering the price paid for services and accomodations."
