“My real complaint was the parking issue. It was a hassle to find the parking, one of the workers gave us the convoluted route to their parking spaces and once we parked there, we were told we couldn’t because we had to buy a parking pass and they were sold out… so we had to park at Sundial and for one night the price was almost $40. Mind you, we parked around 5pm and left at 10AM. I mean the room is decent. And their valet parking, which is in a garage right next to the building, is only……

“Property allowed pets. Was a convenient location to surrounding shopping like the premium outlets of Ellenton. Walmart was also close by. Walls seemed to be super thin but that could just be inconsiderate neighbors...”

“This hotel is great! friendly and helpful staff, clean and large room (the quality is particularly amazing given the low price), and it is walkable to the Ringling mueseum. The only thing I am not that satisfied is the strong smell of disinfectant in the room. Will definitely consider this place once I visit Sarasota again.”

“Room was clean but the carpet was not. Staff was not informative about the property amenities, so do your research before hand. All the elevators were broken or extremely slow and or broken except for one so be prepared to take the stairs. Outdoor pools were amazing, beach was beautiful, property was kept up around the pool area. Perfect for a family getaway but be prepared for some delays in the elevators and staff at check in this average at best. ”

“this past week was our second time staying at Zota. First trip last year was ok but this trip, not so much. The staff here wasn't very pleasant and the hose keepers missed cleaning our room 3 days out of the 7 we stayed there. coffee runs out in the morning and 4 days I notified the staff asking to bring more. idk I feel like resort staff should keep an eye on stuff like coffee in the morning?? decent bang for your buck if your looking to get out on the island but don't except too much from……

“Parking is a big issue especially if you drive a pickup. Signs everywhere don't park here.They're waiting for you to screw up so they can have your vehicle towed. Certainly no way to treat customers who are trying to have a stress free vacation!”
