"Stayed in the newer hotel so can’t comment on the motel but it was clean and nice. It’s not a Hilton resort so you can’t expect fancy but for the price and location and being clean it was a good deal! Very close to the Grand Canyon and we went in May and never had to wait more than 5 mins to get through the line at the Grand Canyon entrance! Had a good AC and building smelled good, so that’s a plus some places we stayed smelled!"

"Stayed in the suite and it was spacious, clean, and well air conditioned. Quiet at night. Good bfast that was well stocked with pastries yogurt, hard boiled eggs, cereal etc. it was busy early in the morning. We had a hot tub in our building with towels. Night light in the bathroom was a nice extra touch"

"The location is awesome, the property is quiet and beautiful, the staff is friendly and the shared amenities are wonderful - we truly enjoyed all of those aspects of our stay. But the actual rooms leave much to be desired - they are very dated but mostly clean (except for the carpet and sofa - eeww) and they have glass block windows with an exterior light right located next to them but no shade to cover them so your room is never dark when you are trying to sleep. And you can't close the bedroom door to shut out the light because then thermostat doesn't realize how warm it is in your bedroom compared to the room where the sensor is, so we got very little restful sleep. Also, no one mentioned that check out time is 10am (the earliest I've ever heard of) and that your room key automatically deactivates at 10:15am so you can't get back in without walking to the front desk in 90 degree heat. Unfortunately, those three things really ruined what otherwise would have been a place we'd return to again and again..."
