"Wow,, for my first time staying in a Hostel traveling solo I truly had an amazing time at this spot. I loved it there. The staff was amazing, the bedrooms were clean, and they breakfast that was actually good. Great location right near the beach and around plenty of food options that are all affordable. The culture and vibe is well worth it. I’ll be back again in April. "

"This hotel was a dream come true. The staff was so friendly and welcoming. They are always able to help answer your questions and help you with whatever is needed. The atmosphere of the place makes you feel like you are in Thailand at all times. The decor of the place makes you feel like you are staying in a Thai house and not a resort. I love the rooms and they feel so comfortable. Overall this is one of the best places I ever stayed."
"Our stay at Grand Kata VIP exceeded every expectation and was one of the highlights of our first trip to Thailand. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel genuinely welcomed and treated us like valued guests rather than just another reservation.
What truly sets this hotel apart is its incredible team. Every staff member was warm, professional, and always willing to go above and beyond to accommodate our family. Whether it was answering questions, helping with transportation, offering local recommendations, or making sure everything was perfect during our stay, nothing ever seemed like too much trouble. Their kindness and attention to detail made us feel completely at home.
The hotel itself was beautiful, comfortable, and in a fantastic location, making it easy to enjoy everything Kata has to offer. After long days exploring Phuket, it was the perfect place to relax.
This was our first visit to Thailand, and Grand Kata VIP played a huge part in making it such an unforgettable experience. We will absolutely be returning, and we highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for exceptional hospitality. Thank you to the entire team for making our vacation so special—we can’t wait to come back!"
"Great hotel for family traveling with kids. We should’ve splurged for the swim in suites. The suites was spacious for family of 4. Amenities included flip flops, swim towels. Breakfast buffet had a lot of options for kids and adults. Adult only pool is 12+ and faces the beach. The beach was spectacular, water was warm, clean and clear"
"Good breakfast - omelette & noodle soup stations, well equipped gym, pool - slide and volley ball net = hours of entertainment for kids. No issue getting sun loungers. We went for a basic room which had a view over the pool, comfy beds & good shower. Good value for money and comfortable."
