No hot tub

Booked rental in July because it had a hot tub. Arrived in November for our anniversary and the go tub had been removed. No one noticed me. If I would have known I would have cancelled my reservation.

Location was perfect. But the property does need some maintenance. AC wasn't working for the first 24 hours and the dishwasher and safe didn't function properly. Hot Tub has been removed from the property, so if you see that in other reviews, it is no longer there. Kitchen was good sized, but rather poorly equipped.

The place needs maintenance. Door handles lose, missing tile in the bathrooms, shower faucet is lose. The oustide deck was flithy.

Great and roomy apartment in a central location!

We enjoyed our time in Key West in this roomy apartment! Once we parked our car in the garage, we never took it out again.

Good location, poor condition

The condo was a nice size and good location but that was about where it ended. The condition was poor-the floor had multiple spots of water damage, the bathroom tiles were loose and missing, the door to the bedroom balcony did not close the whole way and rattled all day and night and the fridge was rusted.

The perfect location

We stayed in this gated condo community in a 2 bed unit. The location was excellent for exploring the area on foot. The condo was very comfortable.

Close to the Action but Quiet

We were first time visitors to Key West and this property was exactly as advertised. It was right off of Duval Street but we had no noise at night. it was an easy walk to all the bars and restaurants as well as historical sites like the Hemingway and Truman houses. The parking garage was perfect for our vehicle and the building was safe and secure.

Place nice rental company ruined our stay

If you see any rental managed by Vacasa run!! This rental was very nice but our experience with the rental management ruined our stay. They had us running back and forth from the rental to the office (that was closed) several times calling us liars about actually being at the office and what was included in the rental. Local management made empty promises to us and then when we returned the keys the people in the office had no idea we had any problems. When we tried explaining our issues to them they did not want to hear it and just told us to leave it in our review. To the owner of the unit, I would find another rental management company! And to future renters if you see Vacasa, Stay away!!

Great location but unit needs updating

The best thing about this unit is the location. You walk right out and Duval street is just a few steps away. It's great that you can go walking on Duval and surrounding areas and not have to worry about finding parking which is sometimes difficult. The unit itself needs updating. The kitchen has basic supplies. Not very much laundry detergent is provided so you having to get that on your own. The dining room chairs are made of some wicker material which is coming unraveled and you are scared so sit in some of the chairs. The couch and two side chairs are usable but outdated. The patio off the living room is a nice place to sit outside and relax by the 2 person hot tub. We used the hot tub every night and it was great! Upstairs are two bedrooms. The master bedroom's furniture is just cheap and looks like it has seen better days. The master bedroom only has a shower and it has No place to put your shampoo and supplies when showering. The shower head is old and the water comes down hard and fast. Not the best shower experience. The second bedroom does have a bathtub if you prefer that. One of the worst things about this unit is that it does not have a very big hot water heater at all. We had 4 people in our until and a max of two people at time could shower or bath and that was only if you did it at the same time. We always had to stagger showers and baths which was not convenient at all. Especially if you all came in from a water excursion and not everybody could shower off. Not a good situation. The location of the unit is so good but the inconvenience of the hot water outweights it.

Never again.

We had to go to another location not on site to collect the garage pass key and 1 key to enter for 4 guests. The furniture was filthy in the living room. We packed light knowing there was a washer and dryer. The 3rd day of our stay we threw all of our clothes in the washer only to find out it was broken. The machine filled with water and wouldn't go further. It took an hour just to get through to Vacasa (the management company) to even report it. They said they'd get a maintenance man out. We waited 4 hours for him to show up. He finally came. Walked in, looked at it and told us he'd been there before and it was broken and it had been reported. They never fixed it. We then had to take the soaking wet soapy clothes out of the washer an rinse each item and wring it dry and put them in the dryer. It took 2 hours to dry. Half our day was shot. The upstairs was ridiculously hot. To make upstairs comfortable to sleep we had to drop the temperature down to 70 which made the downstairs floor so cold you could hang meat. The second bedroom was so small it only fit a bed and one night stand. The bed was against the closet door. In order to use the closet we had to move the bed. That put the night stand in front of the entrance door so we had to turn it sideways to be able to open the door. I can provide pictures. I hope VRBO will first, refund some if our money. This place was not worth what we spent... and secondly take this place off of their website. I expect to hear from someone. As far as the broken washer, Vacasa had "notice of condition" prior to renting to us. Our last day was cut in half because of their negligence.
