Great location, but so dirty inside

What we liked: location and complementary shuttle, the apartment’s overall layout, and the pool/ hot tub. What we didn't like: lack of sanitation! We arrived late on a Wednesday and chose who took which room, then dinner and bed. After showering in the morning, our son asked if our floors were dirty. I was still in the bedroom, looked at the bottom of the feet and they were black. The area in front of the doorwall had sand, a lot of sand on the floor. The kitchen table was dirty and greasy, as were the console and coffee table. One bathroom had a dirty sink and something sticky on the counter. The handle was coming off the door and someone could get locked inside of the door closed fully. Other issues, too, so I messaged at 9:03am Thursday morning and was told housekeeping and maintain would take care of it. We left to check out the area, and 2-1/2 hours later no one was there. I left a note detailing what needed to be done, 11:28am. Back later that evening and nothing was touched, except that the almost broken plate was removed. At 9:06pm I sent 7 photos, but no reply. I also asked for some Windex so we could clean up ourselves. No reply.Friday 6:42am, sent another message. 3:48pm and I sent another photo and message that no one had still not showed up. This is not sanitary! That afternoon I contacted VRBO directly. Only then did I get a reply from Daniella: “Housekeeping can not supply guests with chemicals like Windex” But you won't give us a clean environment?
