Winter Weather Note:
Be prepared to drive in potentially hazardous conditions by acquiring an appropriate vehicle and learning winter driving best practices before arriving to Colorado. Snowy roads are beautiful and absolutely drivable when you are prepared, and so we do not provide refunds for normal winter weather.
However, we are sensitive to traveling in the mountains when the weather is capable of shutting down the roads. If highways are closed due to severe weather, we will provide at minimum a partial refund for the night(s) affected by the road closure. The remaining night(s) will be charged at full price if the highways are open. Typically roads are not closed for more than 24 hours at a time.
