Comfortable Kings Beach condo

We enjoyed our stay in this spacious, comfortable and well-equipped & sunny rental space. The neighborhood is very quiet, and parking was abundant. Nice forest trails are a short walk away.

Nice Location, Could Be Better

Spacious and good space for a group. Nice development, clean and quiet with nice pool and plenty of parking. Close to beach, stores, restaurants and grocery store.

Not clean

The place was DIRTY. Carpets were filthy. Didn’t look like any one cleans the corners or under the beds. I think the cleaners tried as the linens were clean, beds made and kitchen ok but come on, CLEAN THE CARPETS. The kitchen was kind of a joke too. 35 coffee cups and 4 glasses. Microwave was cracked. All in all it just felt neglected and rundown. We did like the location and the kids enjoyed the pool but for what we were charged I felt that “they” could do better. Not a good value at all.

Great location

We appreciated the location of this property as everything we were looking for was within a 5 minute drive. Very disappointed in the cleanliness and the basics that were not provided. Beds and kitchen appeared to be clean, but there is mold on the walls in the downstairs bathroom and the carpets are filthy. The house desperately needs a deep clean. Downstairs toilet didn’t flush every time. Microwave was cracked and the handle was hanging on by a screw (we were notified by someone that they were working on this). No A/C (or circulating fan) which is fine, but the 3rd floor gets really warm and stays warm. Sliding glass door on the main floor doesn’t lock. Also lacks some basic necessities- we were given only a few half rolls of TP, no extra garbage bags except the one in the can, and 1/3 of a roll of paper towels in the kitchen. No kitchen towels or even a sponge to clean anything. We would stay in the area again, but unfortunately not in this house.

Nice home

Nice home, it could use a deep cleaning: mold in the bathrooms We found tv remote controls under the couch that had been replaced with universal remote conrols.

The location was ideal. The place has not been cleaned or seen a rag in years. The sheet in one of the rooms smelled clean. Other rooms sheets were stained not cleaned or changed there was crumbs and food wrappers from other guests. Lip stick stains on the glasses, crusty old food on utensils. Water in shower never got hot. The floors have never been swept or mopped. Towels were clean. I dont understand why i paid a cleaning fee because this place hasnt see cleaning products in years. I would not stay here again. I cant wait to go home and wash this place off of me. Looks like a frat party house. Finger prints and white crusty stuff on the tables and furniture. It wont let me post the nasty picutres i took. I want my money back!!!!

Decent and convenient

The home is decent for 6 adults. Convenient to restaurants and Kings beach. I gave 4 star because the Wi-Fi password provided by vacasa is not correct. We called vacasa and I was told the local team would contact me in the next few hours but no one contacted me. We ended up debugging ourselves and found the right password on the router. If you are given a wrong password, try with lowercase of the first letter.

Great location but needs updating

We have stayed in this location for many years. 5 minutes to Kings beach- no parking after 8am on weekends 9:30am on weekdays. This condo needs a lot of updating. Lots of things broken. Condo was somewhat clean. A lot was sticky when we got there from some furniture and part of the floor. Trash from the previous guests was found on the floor scattered in various places by the couch. Fridge takes over a day to cool down once we put food in.

June 2025 Dark and Worn/Meh....

Nice big TV, nice washer/dryer, no ice maker but had plenty of ice cube trays, clean but dated bathrooms, needs bath mats, more towels, really worn carpets, uncomfortable couchs, mattresses were fairly hard and not that comfortable, needs bedding upgrades, hard to tell if bedspreads/quilts had been washed, overall dark rooms, plenty of dishes, but only 3 wine glasses. For those that have concerns about steps this is not the place for you. There are 8 or so steps up to the front door, bottom floor has two bedrooms (K & Q) and bathroom. About 15 steep narrow steps up to second floor, fairly small living room/kit area and twin room with bathrm, third floor had the 3 twins/small loft area no bathroom. For the price (1200) and fees (500) tax (200) I'd keep looking. This condo was about the level of a 2 star hotel room. We didn't have any problems....just higher expectations.

Spacious and clean

My family and another family enjoyed our stay. The only problem was the oven was not working. The property manager was easy to get hold of but we didn't get a visit until the day before we left. Probably because we stayed over the new year's weekend. All in all, comfortable and convenient location. Thanks!

The property was ok. There were safety issues. The steps were icy and not kept ice=free. The closet doors were not hung properly and appeared broken. There were not enough towels, wash-cloths, for the number of people in the property. Thjere should have been more soap. One liquid soap per bathroom is not enough. There should be soap in the showers.

Room for everyone

Nothing super special but great location, quiet, clean, well equipped, and everything worked. All of that means we were able to enjoy our vacation at the lake. The pool was great for the kids and it stayed reasonably comfortable even in a heatwave. We all had plenty of room to spread out and keep ourselves organized. Small thing but I really appreciated the folded stool in the kitchen, can't say how many I've dragged furniture into kitchens trying to reach dishes. Thanks for a lovely week!
