「We chose Shiki Homes Aki as our Kyoto base because we like to cook for ourselves and relax in the evening, while still having access to local sights and the public transport system. Shiki Homes Aki provided a well maintained, comfortable base in easy reach of buses and the subway. 「Our family loved our stay at Cochi-en. Location is great, close to the train station, convenience store, restaurants and a short walk from Kyoto Imperial Palace. 「とても分かりにくい場所にあります。 周辺にあまり飲食店も少なく、交通の便もあまり良くないです。 良いところは、周辺が静かなのでのんびり過ごしたい人にはお薦めです。 宿の中は古民家を改築したような作りなので、コンセントの位置や家具の配置等も快適さに拘るならあまりお薦めできません。 また、虫が多く苦手な方はお薦めできません。立て付けに隙間が多く、蚊、蛾、その他様々な虫達と出会いました。 そういうのも古民家らしい風情があって宜しいと思う方が良いと思います。 フロントの方はとても親切で分からないことは逐一教えて下さいます。」

「This property is very close to the subway and makes getting around fairly convenient. We liked it because it was quiet. The house was so nice and had very nice upgrades. The upstairs bed had 2 full beds and down had plenty of room for 2 futons. The hosts were super responsive and willing to help us with luggage storage. This is a really nice and comfortable place to stay Super clean and cozy.」
