“I absolutely LOVED staying at Hotel Chaco. The staff is superb. The on site restaurant is delicious. The rooms are clean and super comfy. I didn’t want to leave. Beyond all of this, I really loved the story behind this hotel, and the care that it takes to uplift the culture of the city.”

“Very bad experience, first of all, front desk associate ignore I am waiting in a line and helping someone behind me first and no apology, then bathtub and the toilet bowl are filthy, yellow mark very dirty, the AC in the room is louder than the freeway trucks. Very upset about this hotel, will never back again!!!”

“Our room has nice wood flooring (no nasty carpet) and a jacuzzi bathtub with handicap safety bars. It’s in old town Albuquerque and neighborhood is old but they take good care of this motel. ”

“We arrived late and the property was swarming with homeless people who were openly using drugs. Homeless people were standing in stairways and didn’t feel the need to live out of our way as we were carrying things to our room. We could hear the commotion all night long. In the morning they were all packed up and standing across the street from the hotel. I called it camp crack. Advertised indoor pool but it was drained. Also said breakfast included and was unable to find food in designated……

“The room was good with a comfortable bed and plenty of amenities. There was not adequate parking. We had to park on a street behind the motel with no security .The neighborhood itself withinbwalking distance of Old Town seemed to be in decline. It V was nousy after 9 pmbon a weeknight. Central Avenue was used as a racing streetc.”

“Peaceful stay--a great respite on a long journey. Great shower, bathroom, and bed. Thanks Darlene for the delicious breakfast and Phil for your hospitality. Our one complaint was that we could not take our dog off leash because it was not fully fenced in. ”

“We loved staying at this piece of history and appreciated they were dog friendly with a reasonable pet fee. This is a secure gated property with lots of local lore. While there are only four rooms, each comes with a private fenced patio, full kitchen with stove, microwave, dishwasher and coffeemaker, full living room and separate bedroom. Highly recommend to anyone who wants to stop comfortably for the night and appreciate some local history. Also, they serve beer in the afternoon (we got there……

“Home was no frills but exceptionally clean and in a great location for both walking to old town or getting on hwy 40 to go out of town on day trips. I was with my husband this time, but with room for 6, it would be great for a girls trip. Felt very safe.”
