“The room was not clean. The ceiling was flaking off … and still leaking over the bed! The place reeked of marijuana and the room itself was supposed to be non smoking but reeked of cigarettes smoke. The stairs and hallways were also dirty.”

“We loved our stay in this historic hotel. The room was very clean and seemed newly renovated. The staff was spectacular from the greeting to responding to all of our questions.”

“I love Country Inn and Suites but this one really has me so disappointed. The hotel is under renovation however, it was like no one checked the rooms before assigning them. We had to be moved 3 times. And the last room still wasn't up to par but we were exhausted. Starting off with the 1st room, it was consumed by the smell of cigarettes. The 2nd room was full of mold. The window curtains, the phone and the shower curtain. Plus the tv didn't work. They moved us to a 3rd room.... It was better……

“We had a non-smoking room, but it smelled strongly of cigarettes. I’m not sure where the smell was coming from — maybe someone had smoked in the room before us and the smell hadn’t gone away, or maybe it was coming from the neighbors. But as a non-smoker, it was really unpleasant for me, and I’m very sensitive to that smell.”

“Worst experience in a motel. The room smelled horrible, the shower was filthy, and the couch was stained.”

“Great stay! The staff was very helpful and professional, breakfast was very good, rooms were very clean and smell good. The pool was super clean. I’ll stay there again.”

“There isn't many places to stay in Jackson. This place was a great location as you were so close to the downtown area. It did need some updating and better cleaning. We were disappointed that the pool was out of order. If you are looking for something that is just a place to stay, this isn't too bad. We were in town most of the time. Jackson is a cute town and we enjoyed all the Stranger things locations!”

“It was ok for 1 night, but the pool is non working and black water...this needs to be updated on Expedia that no working pool...seems to be a long term housing area also..”

“The water barely work, the TV didn't work at all, the curtain only covered half the room, and the shower drain that mold, oh there was blood on the floor. I wouldn't recommend staying there”

“Checked in and immediately noticed roaches. Not water bugs like you would find at a lake, but German cockroaches. Not just big ones but babies which means there’s a ton. The Wi-Fi never worked, the shower never turned off literally ran hot water 24 hours a day. The other shower door does not close completely and you had to hold it closed while showering. The dining table is not for using. It is so poorly put together. I was afraid to set my backpack on it. The house exterior was filthy with……
