“This cottage was great for staying close to the beach, stores, restaurants, etc. Everything was clean and stocked with all the essentials. The only downside is how close it is to the main road and how much traffic noise you hear in the main bedroom. Expect to be woken up very early every morning by the sound of cars driving. They are also building two new homes on the street almost directly in front of this house. Nothing the owners can control but just something to be aware of when booking.……

The location is extremely convenient, especially since we rented a golf cart, with beach access just around the corner. Publix is within walking distance along with many other restaurants and stores. “We had a fantastic stay at Sophie's Cottage. The entire home has been renovated and is pristine and immaculate. The pool and backyard are breathtaking with an amazing view of the canal. The owner, Jim, is high class and ensured we had everything we needed to start our vacation; bikes, chairs, beach towels. Great communications with him. He provides everything you need to have a memorable stay. The home is perfectly located near the beach and village. Definitely will return!”

“For our girls getaway we like to have a pool, the ocean, a comfortable place to stay and a deck with a view to read and relax. The place was very comfortable, the pool was great, the ocean a 1/2 mile walk and the lanai was nice as well. There wasn't much of a view as it overlooked the main road - which you can't tell from the pictures. Overall a great place to stay and experience Siesta Key.”

“Perfect location, right on the water. Very comfortable cottage right on the beach, near restaurants, close to shopping. The bed is very comfortable, nice kitchen and the bathroom shower is amazing. Very nice patio with an amazing view. Will stay here again. ”

My asthma don't allow me to travel just anywhere and this was an amazing stay. Would visit again, need more of these options for people with health issues like mine.”

“Thank you for being a great host. It felt like staying at a friend’s place. There were small little comforts like having sugar, salt and pepper, cooking spray that make eating in so much easier. Also, the half bath has been updated, so it isn’t the cinder block wall shown in the picture. People should be aware that that particular bathroom is detached from the rest of the house, but we relegated our family to go there for their “longer” bathroom breaks;) Super easy to go to AMI, and having use……
