“The Ruby was awesome! It was very unique and quiet! The only thing to note is that there are only stairs, so if you cannot do stairs, that would be a problem. They did carry our bags up for us though! Great, relaxing stay! :)”

“Clean, quiet and friendly. The default temperature of the air conditioning in the room should be set lower. And the elevator is out of service a bit too often.”

“When we arrived at the property, the front desk clerk didn't acknowledge us when we walked in and continued to type on the computer for 10 minutes until he finally asked us our name. There was no one else he was helping, just very rude! not good customer service. we stayed at a different hotel the next day and WOW what a difference! so friendly, helpful! We barely got in the door before we got a smiling hello!”

“Elements is the new addition to the Marriott brand. If you preferred minimalism that has all the amenities you need for your stay - this is the place. Clean and well maintained. Private parking garage, credit union bank next door, bus stop to downtown Austin. Walking distance to many restaurants and shops - Dillards, Macy, Dicks Sporting Goods etc.”

“Most of the staff was great. But really depends on who is there that day. I had a couple of people being extremely helpful and nice. but one morning we didn’t have water during breakfast and the main desk attendant just said: “there is nothing we can do about it.” But other times I had people walking an extra mile to help with the laundry machine and other things. Outside needs care. But the room was clean and the mattress was new and confortable. Breakfast was good for what it is.”
