「I did not appreciate the hotel contacting me after 3pm on the day I was checking in to let me know that the room which was booked over 3 weeks ago was no longer available. They messaged that they were putting us in an upgraded room however the room I got was smaller than the one booked and there was no refund offered. I did not make any inquiries when checking in because we drove in late that night and were in the area to celebrate our daughter’s birthday and didn’t need any new unpleasantness.」

「The bathroom needed some upkeep. Our room was cold, so we turned the heat on and an awful smell filled the room. So we were moved to another room. The rooms felt damp. I bought some air freshener and sprayed the room. The ice machine was in a building by itself. As I was leaving from getting ice, I couldn’t get the door open. There was a red button you had to push to get out. That was odd. The breakfast was great. Good location.」
