「Probably the best holiday let/cottage we have stayed in over the past 11 years. Spotlessly clean with all the home comforts and more. The kitchen was better equipped than my one at home!!! Hot tub was a lovely addition Great welcome basket - plum bread a new firm favourite. Jayne the host greeted us on arrival which was really nice Very quiet village with a nice pub opposite. Conveniently located near Lincoln and the Lincolnshire Wolds Would highly recommend」

「The hotel is a renovated historic building nicely located next to the cathedral and the castle. Indeed the breakfast chamber offers a good view of the cathedral towers. The rooms are neat and clean. The hotel staff are very friendly. Besides other things, they offered to assist me in taking a few good photos to preserve the exceptional experience for being there. It was a highly memorable stay, despite having had some difficulties in finding the hotel entrance owing to lack of...

「We didn’t stay - after a 350 mile drive we arrived to find it very firmly closed. Ironic you send this questionnaire after your reservations person (based, unhelpful,y, in Arizona) spent over an hour and a half on the day getting us alternative accommodation.」

「 It seems that the staff are not used to greet guests good morning and the like. Also ,the restaurant is under renovation until end March, so reduced breakfast has to be served inside room. The environment outside the hotel is good,though, with many restaurants nearby.」

「The title really sums up this hotel. There was nothing either outstandingly good or outstandingly bad about this hotel. Everything was 'OK.' The location is nothing special. The room was completely standard, as was the food. Nothing stood out. I didn't try the pool/gym - I expect they were OK too.」

「I had a REALLY great time in this hotel. Everything was so perfect. The room was spacious and quiet, the bed and pillow were soft, the service had nothing to be criticize, and most importantly, it was not pricy at all. I was surprised and enjoyed my stay so much! I will definitely stay here again next time when I come to Lincoln!」
