"There are so many things to like about the Ambassador Hotel, starting with its incredible Gold Coast location, it’s amazing history as a landmark hotel in Chicago, it’s traditional, elegant interiors nicely updated. Last but not least a big shout out to the front desk as well as restaurant/cocktail lounge staff for the incredible service that they provided to me and one of my best friend’s from college. She was coming from Australia so we planned a mini-reunion and the staff (especially William (or “Billy”) at the front desk) who went out of their way to make this a special several days for us! I will definitely be returning to the Ambassador the next time I get the pleasure of a visit to Chicago."

"Feels like a glorified “serviced apartment” more than a hotel — no staff onsite except the occasional cleaning person. No luggage storage, but there are locations nearby to store your bags (via Bounce, ~ $15 for 2 bags for the day). With that said, the room was clean, cool, and comfortable. Great price compared to other accommodations in the area — location is A+, walkable to many bars & restaurants and the red line. All communication with the property was clear. Overall, would stay again."

"The room was clean. There were towels ready for us to use. It is a shared bathroom, but we didn’t have any issues getting into the bathrooms and using them when needed. There were plenty of amenities in the bathroom available for use the beds we’re fine enough and met our expectations. The area is full of restaurants and places to eat and see, we were there for a Cubs game. Dorothy’s is perfect walking distance to the game and we didn’t have any issues finding the place getting our parking pass and finding parking all worked out as well. Everything is very clear in the instructions they send you."
