"“We had a generally pleasant experience at the resort. The property was clean, well maintained, and the beach was exceptional. Most of the food was good, though a few staff members at the drink and food shacks were unfriendly and seemed unhappy to be working with guests. Others, however, were wonderful. We appreciated the convenience of traveling between the five DIVI resorts by shuttle. One downside was that at check‑in we weren’t given a map or list of activities and had to request them. We also played golf, but the course greens were average at best and quite worn in places. This was our first time in Aruba. Taxis mostly require cash, but the island felt very safe to travel around. The highlight of our trip was the ABC Tours Wild ATV Adventure along the northwestern. "Best amenity is access to the private island. Breakfast was ok but nothing special. There was a lot of little things that needed fixed around the hotel and in the room. Artwork hanging off crooked in the hallway, drywall patches in the bathroom, debris on the carpet in the hallway everyday. For the price during high season $800 per night with breakfast I do not find it worth it at all. For half the price it wouldn’t be as much as a problem. Do not expect a 4-star hotel experience. The staff all around was excellent, helpful and incredibly kind and attentive. "

"The location was right on the beach. It was nice you had lounge chairs and sand right outside your room. Beaches had beautiful white sand. The restaurants were right on the beach and the food was amazing. Staff was super friendly. Close to shopping areas. We will definitely be returning to the Tamarijn."

"Lovely resort beautiful pools! The room was well layed out, however had the smell of moldy laundry. The food and restaurants were lovely at all times. Please avoid the concierge service. The woman with who we tried to book an excursion with at the concierge was very intent on upselling us to “her favorite” excursion, refusing to answer direct questions and instead, redirecting our attention to her preferences, taking at least 45 Minutes to show us pics on her phone, even after us saying no countless times. Finally, all we wanted was to order a cab to see the palm beach area and she gave us a hard time about that, telling us it was “closed” ( it was not) saying she alone needed to call the cab, we could not, and when I finally let her know I was getting aggravated 45 minutes later, she told me to calm down. I went ahead and booked our dolphin catamaran through the expedia app Myself, and had a WONDERFUL TIME! Our cab driver gave us his direct number and we used him countless times and he was lovely. Avoid the concierge at this resort as I believe they might be commission based, rather than guest services. Otherwise, a lovely stay at this resort, we would definitely stay again."
