"Excellent location for subway with many lines nearby. Walkable to Seaport and Brooklyn Bridge plus ferries to Dumbo. Hotel itself very clean with additional facilities in the room like a microwave - ideal as we had a toddler who required warm milk. Lovely 2 bed room with water views across to Brooklyn one way and overlooking Staten Island ferry and surrounding bay the other way. Room housekeeping amazing. Definitely a perfect cost effective hotel if you want a location away from the crowds. Thoroughly recommended."

"The hotel was in a super convenient spot with the train station nearby, walking distance to some stores, super clean, and the views were great from our room. We got lucky with the beautiful Empire State view. The extra resort fees did not make sense as we did not have any time to use the amenities, the purpose of the stay was to visit the city."

"Hotel is a great bang for your buck. Staff was kind throughout and held my bags before the morning of my checking until the room was ready. Rooms are very small and do not contain a private bathroom, but the hotel makes that clear up front and did a good job keeping the shared bathrooms clean and well stocked. Hotel is in a good location (only a minute walk to the waterfront and 5-10 minute walk to the subway). Would recommend for anyone planning on exploring the city and spending most of their time outside the hotel."
