「The room and the property were very nice as usual. But I was very disappointed that the pool had been filled in. Also, things have changed for check in. Apparently there is no one on the premises most of the time, and there is a sign on the door for a number to call. I guess we missed the personal touch that we experienced in the past. We will not return.」

「The hotel was dirty right from the parking lot and inside. There was mold on the air conditioner. Bathroom countertop was dirty.」

「If you need a place to lay your head…not too terrible. Theres a Walmart, a cute coffee shop and good restaurants. But if you’re looking for quality, cleanliness or the feeling of privacy, it’s not great. Staff was helpful though. 」

「We had a great time in Cheboygan and our stay at the Monarch was great as well. Clean rooms and helpful owners made our vacation one to remember」

「You get what you pay for. There was a crack and water stains on the ceiling of my room. The furniture was run down. 」
