"I’m always impressed with the aesthetic of the rooms. Staff are always super friendly and helpful. The room was very clean but the only problem I had was that the bed sheet was torn at the foot of the bed and when I brought this up with the staff they offered to fix it straight away. I left them to fix the bed sheet, however upon my return, the bed sheet was still in the condition I found it in (torn). I then brought this up with the front desk who offered me a free upgrade as there was no housekeeping available at that time. I was thoroughly impressed with how they dealt with the decision. Overall I had a great stay and the Alan is my go to hotel for when I’m in Manchester. I would highly recommend it."

"Outside appearance is deceiving - very lovely clean hotel with friendly helpful staff. The breakfast is excellent with a good variety of options, and the bar/restaurant options are affordable and there is a good selection to choose from. My room was fairly basic (which is no problem for me!) and was clean and tidy, with a good water pressure on the shower and a HUGE comfortable bed, though the pillows were a little flat. Check-in and out (on the 2nd floor) was easy and straightforward, and the parking is very very reasonable! I'd happily stay here again, thank you Ox Hotel!"

"Lovely room, quiet, clean and comfortable. Disappointed with bar as only half stocked, no prosecco or cider and staff did not come back after requesting if drinks were available. Bar staff lacked social engagement and manners. "
