"Property was amazingly nestled into the mountainside of Lake Como. Restaurant and small martlet within minutes of the property. No need to leave the area during your stay. The view was second to only the view at the top of the road. A short drive to the top to see the snow topped Alps and a great view into Switzerland. The house was cozy and well hosted. Amazing stay with an amazing view. "

"This is a nice place to stay with a beautiful view of the lake and the mountains. The whole area is wonderful to see with many beautiful villas and quaint towns. It is also at a convenient train stop in Varenna that is also near a ferry stop. You need to be aware that you have to walk into town or drive your own car or schedule a a taxi. I would definitely stay here again. Mary was very accommodating also."
