The breakfast was great and we had great communication with the owner who gave us advice on the route to drive to Aberdeen and to visit the Balmoral Castle. “The room was adorable. The only thing I found inconvenient was I had to sit outside until check in time as there is no desk. Then you ring in and get your keys. Travelling alone it’s nice if you can leave your bag if you’re early. I was treated well.”

“The property was located about 10 minutes from train station-very convenient.
The room was small but very clean. Housekeeping came in daily.
The one concern was the hot water which very hot. Possibility of scalding if not careful.”

“I stayed in three different hostels for my first Scotland trip. This is the best one out of the three. Definitely I will return during my next visit to Inverness. This hostel was the only one that could accommodate my request for a lower bunk bed, which I greatly appreciated, as I needed to wake up in early morning.

Very affordable rates and just about 15min walk from the town center. It is easier to walk from Morrison, and for those needing to travel to the airport, there is a bus……
