Do not recommend this hotel!!. There were moths and bugs in the room, the bed sheet had stains on them, and there is a bar just a few steps from the hotel that has a DJ that plays music until 12:30am. Very loud, you cannot sleep!

Tiny room with leaky fridge and outlets that didn’t work. Stand up Shower had no pressure, I’m talking drips of water. Staff was very nice. Had working AC. TV. Right across the street from a small, free beach. Lots of garbage and glass on beach. Little local restaurant on property. It was so/so things like goat, beef tongue. And bottled drinks. Kinda sketchy strip with a sidewalk. Lots of people came up to us asking for money including kids, saying things like I’m just gonna let them starve if I don’t give them money. Not very kid safe as lots of people drinking and smoking all over the sidewalk, also urinating right in the open on the sidewalk or in bottles they just leave on the ground. For not being in a resort area this was the nicest place I found close to airport, no fresh fruit anywhere.

The room was clean and everything seemed pretty new. The woman in the office was super friendly and gave us a great tip on where to go for dinner. Then she set us up with a cab after checking out and heading to our next stop. Exactly what we were looking for.

This is a small hotel with nice surprises. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was extremely clean and comfortable. The view of the ocean was calming. Next door is a quaint restaurant. The staff also arranged the needed taxi service to the airport. I enjoyed that the staff took time to just have a conversation about life.

My flight was cancelled and my intention was to stay near the airport for my morning flight. Check in was quick, security guard very welcoming. Self parking. Small hotel by the MBJ airport, budget friendly, clean rooms, with amenities. Noisy due to planes landing and taking off but beautiful to watch. Unfortunately the street bar next door blaring music was louder than the planes.

*Would recommend for very short stay to be close enough to Mobay airport* The location was pretty ideal. Upon checking, in I was met by a staff member who requested my info to find my name, took out a terminal and requested payment for my stay despite me already prepaying. Once I relayed that, she told me my room number and that the door would be open. Turns out, the individual was their security guard. I got to my room and it was being cleaned (I'd appreciate my room being ready considering I arrived over an hour after check-in time, but I'm understanding enough). I stayed in 3 different hotels total during my trip. I think this hotel needs to invest in door shields to prevent insects from coming inside. Luckily, I was only there for 1 night, but the amount of insects the following morning that managed to get into my room was pretty amazing. I understand that labour starts early, but outside of competing with the understandable plane noises, there was someone drilling and hammering in the evening and early morning, which was fun to experience. Shower/ bathroom was clean, but with the noise of workers, it sounded like they right outside of my window, which didn't have any curtains to draw in the bathroom.

Not for the bujii folk. Accommodations are sufficient and basic staff is exceptional. Ac is great and is close to a free beach across the street. Like I said not for the bujii folks but this was great. A little noise from airport but not bothersome to me.

The room was clean. The staff was very helpful. I hope this get a ride to the airport in the morning. It was close by things going on all we didn't get to check them out as we didn't arrive until later. I would definitely go and stay again and hopefully spend a few days in Montego Bay.
