“Had a really great stay at Rick & Tammie’s place. They were extremely helpful throughout our stay and greatly appreciated the flexibility with late checkout!”

“The house is close to some of the restaurants and shops in town. In addition to many parks. It was comfortable and had a small fenced yard. Smart tv was good. Could use a refresh on the non stick pans. The mini split heating/ cooling system was so difficult to use despite the directions. We needed her to turn on the heat as it was very cold the day we came in. We tried using the system to then cool it a day later and couldn’t get it to cool so we left it on what she set it as. The view of Mt……

“The Eagles Rest cabin was beautiful and well appointed. The beds were comfortable, the rooms were quiet and spacious. Our teen kids loved the basketball/ pickle ball court and ping pong table. Communication was fantastic and the check-in/ out process was easy. Would stay here again and definitely recommend it to others.”

“I'm not the complaining type, but I feel this house needs an honest review. The house is on a motel/RV Park property, which was fine. I had to get the key from the HiLo motel office because I never received a response from owner. The bed & bath linens appeared clean, and the beds were comfy. However, the house was lacking compared to other Vrbo's I've stayed it. 3 of the 6 a/c mini splits quit working. Handyman attempted to fix 1 a/c to no avail. Then the other 2 quit. (And it was hot) The floor……

“We had 4 adults and two Labradors. The property is down a gravel path. There is a lovely flat area around the house that gave the dogs plenty of space to sniff and play. The house has great indoor and patio seating areas with a beautiful views of the lake. The rooms and beds are comfortable. The kitchen had all the tools for cooking. We enjoyed the trains going by. The path to the lake is great, and definitely more effort to walk back up than walking down. We stayed for 6 days and only……

“Beautiful home in a lower end neighborhood. Sort of sticks out amongst the locals. Walking our dogs down to the railroad tracks. We noticed quite a few homeless people. They were friendly, but it’s always heartbreaking to see people living out of their cars.”

“we enjoyed our stay house was clean we would stay there again”

“Would recommend Lakeshore retreat any time you're planning a trip to lake shasta. Home checked all our boxes, managers were very easy to work with and info on area and things to do was well documented.”

“Another great retreat we stayed at of Lori and Dave. Open kitchen/living room. Large wrap around deck. Great location. Very handy having 2nd fridge on deck. Enjoyed our stay.”

“Family of 5 fit very comfortably. Kids loved the loft area and everything about the house. First trip to Shasta in the winter and will be going back again.”

“We had many questions before we booked and Lori patiently answered every single one of them! When we got to the house we had lots of room for our large group and really enjoyed being able to stay together instead of in separate hotel rooms. The kitchen had everything we needed and when we had a small “fix it” issue maintenance was on it right away. Also the guidebook was awesome!”

“This property was absolutely perfect for our family in every way. Comfortable beds open layout in the kitchen and living room, I actually slept better here than in my own bed and I can’t say that about anywhere else I’ve stayed. The deck was absolutely perfect with great views. The area is also perfect, store is close by with everything you need and you can rent any water equipment you need right there. Cant wait to come back!!”
