“Friendly staff in a hotel/pub on the High St with free parking at the back. Our room was spacious and clean. It was very warm so two quiet fans were provided. Bathroom was large and modern with lots of hot water. You might need to know the kitchen closes at 9.15 in the evening (we missed it!) and the staircases are quite narrow and steep if you have any mobility problems. “The general overall stay was super. The staff very helpful especially when we had a problem with our tv, came and sorted it straight away. The organisation of the breakfast with tables linked to your room name was a real plus! Much nicer than 'sit where you like'! No one collecting glasses or emptying an ash tray. Asked for a coffee in the morning and waited 15 minutes.. got up to ask where it was "oh i couldn't find you" yeah because you were in the kitchen flirting with the chef.. “I stayed here for one night with my daughter after a trip to Peppa Pig World, and I’m so glad I chose this hotel. It was absolutely wonderful. The staff were lovely, and there was so much to do. We enjoyed both the indoor and outdoor pools, played ping-pong, explored the grounds, and even went on the zip line. The most magical part was seeing the wild horses just a short walk away. “Never stay here in the summer! A lovely hotel with a great spa but sadly the staff were not interested. Our room (6) was boiling hot, far hotter than 2 other hotel rooms we have slept in over this May 26 heatwave. When we raised this at check in and explained that we would not be able to sleep in the room we were given a spare fan that simply moved the hot are around.
