A great area to stay, room very comfortable, easy transportation, supermarket, restaurants, and friendly people, i will choose Bay ridges comfort hotel anytime!!
We enjoyed our six night stay there. The room was clean, the beds comfortable, and great water pressure/temperature. The AC kept the room cool. There is VERY little staff. The kitchenette was missing a few essential items; glasses, a bowl, silverware. The lobby is terrible. The lobby has a stained carpet an ill fitted slip covered sofa. Transportation was good. The subway station is on the corner. The area is safe. We would go back again.
Getting instructions to get inside was annoying since there is no front desks everything is with codes to get in. Luckily there was a hotel staff member there and was able to help me get the info I needed to get into my room. Overall, place was clean and it’s in Bay Ridge. That’s a win.

Just ok lol
Much smaller than the pictures suggest.
The walls are really thin so if everyone else is awake so are you.
I also didn't love that there wasn't any kind of deadbolt on the door. Just the lock from the keypad door handle.
Overall a decent place to stay though. It's clean and a pretty safe part of town.

Tv didnt work and the people in the room next door had a dog that barked for an hour starting at 6 AM!
There was no staff. Building was locked
Called contact number
No ine answered. I believe it was not even a hotel or even airbnb. Spoke to expedia rep. Requested full refund. Alleged ownercif property refused. Totally unacceptable. Expedia.rep emailed me to inform me. My wife and had to dind another hotel after coming off a 12 hour internatioal flight. We are both over 70 years old and this caused up serio7s atress and aggravation. Vedy disappointed in how epedua handled this, as i am long time customer, with several new reservations already booked
Honestly I was not that happy! Here’s a few things to keep in mind when booking:
1) There is absolutely NO PARKING, you will defn struggle with parking! Not sure how a hotel would open if there’s not a reserve spot for the visitors!
2) Not clean! There was hair on the bathroom floor and shower
3) If you arrive early, they will hunt you down to pay for every 30min you checked in ahead of time. They’ll keep calling and knocking on door for you to pay $20 an hour! It’s just $20 there’s no need to hunt us down a few mins after arriving.
Getting into the place was tricky. We mistakenly booked it for the wrong night. When we got the the code for the room was the same. This is a major security risk. The codes stay the same. Also when we walked in and saw peoples things there, we immediately left closing the door behind us. The door did not lock and was left unlocked. The pictures make the hotel look much nicer than it really was.
Frustrating experience all around. Was given room already occupied by another family. Luckily they were not there but their luggage and personal belongings were. Took a long time to get ahold of someone. Responding in Hotels.com app was going to invalid email. I was finally sent alternate email to check into a different room. Not sure if it had been already used or not but sure looked like it.
Room service walked in as if they thought it was empty and handed me some towels. Weird. Hardly slept all night wondering who else may wander in.
Just zero communication and a bad experience all around.
I ended up getting a different place the following day and tried to cancel my second day but have not heard anything from the hotel management and honestly I don't expect to at this point.
Save your $$ and avoid this place no matter the cost.
